Righteous living is the key to a fulfilling life.

There are parts of our lives that we would never tell God aren’t any of His business, but based on the way we have walled them off from Him, we might as well just hang a sign on those areas of our lives and tell Him they are off-limits. This is the central truth of our current series, That Ain’t None of God’s Business. Despite the fact that God is the Creator of this world and possessor of all kno...

Pastor Dobbs ministers from Genesis 6:22 on the blessing that comes from following divine instructions as Noah did in the saving of his household when he built the ark. One of the reasons that he had to build the ark is that people were doing evil but Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Scripture: Genesis 6:22 - Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

We started a new series last week called “That Ain’t None of God’s Business.” The premise is simple. For some reason, American Christians seem to think there is a version of Christianity that allows us to select parts of our lives and declare them off-limits to Jesus. While we’d probably never tell God “that ain’t none of Your business” in those exact words, our actions say otherwise. As we walk t...

Pastor Dobbs ministers from II Kings 5:14 on the blessing that comes from with consistency and following divine instructions. In this teaching, he focuses on Naaman, who was a leper, but after he followed divine instructions, his flesh was restored back to that of a little child. I believe the Lord will do the same for us when it comes to healing, deliverance and making our life better. Scripture:...

God honors His word above His name.

Can a Christian genuinely believe in Jesus, follow Jesus, and later choose to walk away? Christians have debated that question for centuries. But in this episode, Jon steps away from the theological labels and asks a more important question: What does Scripture actually say? From Jesus' warning about those who “believe for a while” and then fall away, to His command to “abide in Me,” to Paul's cal...

Pastor Dobbs ministers from I Kings 17:15 on how following divine instructions caused the widow woman and her son and Elijah to eat many days even when there was a drought. It is blessing to follow divine instructions, Scripture: I Kings 17:15 - So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.

This week, we’re starting a new series called “That Ain’t None of God’s Business.” When you listen to how some people talk or watch how they live, it is clear that there are some areas of their lives they’ve given to God but many others that they haven’t. Their words and actions show that they believe there are aspects of their lives that are none of God’s business! In Luke 22:42, Jesus said that...

God's benefits are out of this world!

Without faith it's impossible to please God. Knowing Who You Are helps you step up and be who God has called you to be.

In this message, Senior Minister Margie Smith ministers from I Corinthians 11:1 on how a learned member follows a learned pastor. She encouraged us to not let anything separate us from our church or our sent pastor. In the intro, Deacon Samuel McCullogh encourages us to be strong and courageous in our walk with the Lord coming from Joshua 1:9-11. Scripture: I Corinthians 11:1 - Imitate me, just as...

Pastor Leonard Cochran of A Place of Refuge Newnan ministered from Exodus 17:12 on a church being steady during the appreciation of Pastor and Lady Dobbs. A steady church is the result of a steady pastor. Scripture: Exodus 17:12 - But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the...
