It’s the Kid Michael Show!

The season 6 finale. Thanks for sticking with us this go around, we hope to see ya in October.

In which we discuss the future (?) of the pod

There was no episode last week and we didnt record one for this upcoming week. Side note, I’m listening to this episode rn and I weirdly don’t hate it. Generally don’t like listening to these.

Did you guys see Ryan Gosling is actually gonna be Ghost Rider? We don’t talk about that in this one, I’m just reacting in real time as I type this out. Anyway sucks about Blade I really wanted that movie.

I open this episode talking about how happy I am rn. Disregard that. That shit did NOT last.

This was supposed to be uploaded yesterday but life is really good right now and I wasn’t even thinking about this.

Apologies for the random hiatus, we were having trouble getting all of our schedules lined up. If you haven’t already noticed, we uploaded some old episodes that-for whatever reason-never properly uploaded and thus were kinda lost to time. So there’s actually like five episodes of content to catch up to currently if you care to listen.

You’re probably thinking this is the holiday special. It is not. You’re getting that a week late this year. I know, you’re shocked. Let this episode hold you over until then.

I bet we talk about Star Wars in this one

We discuss the chimp civil war and my audio sucks

Knicks won the finals. That’s not in this episode, but goddamn does it rule to live in New York right now.

Mandalorian and Grogu was fun. We talk about that next episode though, not this one. I’ve heard good things about the Burger King tie in, too.

Hope you folks had a good memorial day weekend. I didn’t have to work Monday, and that was super cool. You’d think not working would mean I upload the episode in time. Yet here we are!

Im so tired writing this description I got home from a family party and its like 10:41. I was about to nag at Kevin for not sending me this episode only to discover he already did yesterday.

I kept forgetting to upload this but also we didnt record last weekend so it’s not the end of the world if there’s some more space between the uploads. Also Project Hail Mary was pretty good. We don’t talk about it here, I’m just saying.

Remember that animated movie about c-3po and r2d2 they announced way back? Low-key thought that sounded fun. Bummed nothing ever happened.

Janno explains why he thinks its good that gamefreak makes bad pokemon games and you should be thankful

Next episode is a banger. I’m sure this ones good too I just don’t remember it.

Steven returns. We talk about Pokopia but also the logistics of owning a horse instead of a car for some reason.

We definitely talk about Wipeout on this one. Also there’s gonna be a week gap between this one and the next cause I’m on vacation right now and the boys didn’t feel like recording without me.

Marella returns to the pod to talk Star Trek TOS. We also talk about teaching and our time together at art school.

Next eps gonna have a guest. So you have that to look forward to, I guess. Also started student teaching and lowkey I think I fuck with being a highschool teacher.

Today’s the big snow storm, folks. I thought it was gonna be like 4 inches or whatever but now I’m hearing 12??? Also sleet which sucks. Anyway stay safe out there

Look I know its a whole thing at this point that I don’t remember what’s in the episode but its been like three weeks since we recorded this one. Kevin got sick and I had shit to do and now I have no idea what we did for this one. Cut me some slack here.

If you’re mad that the holiday special is dropping post new years consider that I’m Puerto Rican and we celebrate Three Kings Day and that hasn’t happened yet so we’re still in holiday territory. You know what hot take the holiday season ends in February with lunar new year screw you guys.
