I am joined today by the new head coach of the Youngstown State Penguins Women's Basketball program! She has had a successful most recently as head coach at The University of Akron and as an assistant coach at Cleveland State. Another student broadcaster episode this time with Austin Crume. I first met Austin when calling Ohio State Baseball in 2024 and it has been a ton of fun watching him grow in this industry and I am excited to see where he ends up!

He is a member of the Class of 2025 at The Ohio State University where he is a broadcaster for Scarlet and Grey Sports Radio and Big Ten Plus on top of being a broadcaster for the inventors of Cosmic Baseball the Tri-City Chili Peppers!

In episode 1 of our series highlighting student broadcasters, we talk to Tyler Danburg! Tyler is going into his senior year at The Ohio State University and is already a true professional in the world of broadcasting. Calling games for SGSR, Big Ten+, and the Lake County Captains, Tyler has a very bright future ahead of him!

Native of Columbus, OH turned Wolverine, Jake Butt was a tight end for the Michigan Wolverines before being drafted to the Denver Broncos. He is now a commentator for the Big Ten Network as well as a co-host for Red Corner Blue Corner on the stadium network!

I had the absolute honor and privilege to sit down with legendary sports broadcaster Jeff Rimer prior to his retirement in April of 2024 and it was amazing getting to hear his stories and just listen to some of the things that he has seen and been a part of!

Blue Jackets and Reds fans may be some of the only people who are able to spell or even say his name but I can promise you, the boy from small town Texas knows his Ohio Sports. Hear him talk about his journey to Central Ohio from down south and hear what he has to say about his partner's... "obsession" with his accent!

The Hyphenator himself joins me in the stands today to talk about his career in the National Hockey League as well as his current position at Bally Sports Ohio!
