Fathers House Church - Longview, WA

Marriage is God's thing that He invented!  It's a reflection of the relationship Jesus has to His Church and without Him in the center it's doomed to failure! It's never too late to put God in the center of your marriage! Sermon by Pastor Chuck Tilton [Recorded 2026-09-27] Don’t forget t...

"Israel is God's prophetic time clock." Peter gives his special revelation of the end times to the early church. Our God is not bound by earthly clocks but gives us a glimpse into what tribulation, the rapture, and what the new heaven and new earth might look like? Where will you be when the time of great testing comes? How will you spend eternity? This is part 5 of an original seri...

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Jesus came to set us free, and he wants us to stay free.  We are called to remember what Jesus did, remember who you are in Christ, and hold fast to truth even when false teachings and corrupt influences try to sow weeds into the garden of your heart.  Many of us can liv...

Jesus warned us that false teachers would come disguised as trustworthy guides, and we would recognize them by their fruit.  From the prosperity gospel to hyper-grace, legalism, and distorted views of Jesus, dangerous teachings are present in the church today. Being a discerning fruit inspector is not about suspicion. It is about spiritual awareness.  God is patient with those who stray, but judgm...

Your physical body is temporary, described in Scripture as a tent, but what God is building in you is eternal.  For centuries, God dwelled in a movable tabernacle placed at the center of the Israelite camp, a deliberate statement that He is meant to be at the center of life. When Jesus died on the cross, the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom by God Himself, opening direct access to His pr...

Peter, writing one of his final letters before his death, offers a practical roadmap for building a faith that lasts.  He calls believers to cultivate a growing list of qualities: goodness, knowledge of God, self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love. These qualities must be present in increasing measure, not as a one-time checklist but as a lifelong pursuit.  Without them,...

America was not built apart from God. From the Pilgrims kneeling on the shore at Plymouth Rock to the founding of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton as schools for pastors, the biblical foundation of this nation is undeniable. History shows a pattern repeated throughout Scripture and throughout American history: when people enjoy God's blessings and forget the Source, consequences follow.  The good...

This life is temporary, but it is easy to forget that when daily routines feel so permanent.  Like a student absorbed in high school who suddenly realizes graduation is near, we all eventually face the reality that we are just passing through. Paul captured this truth powerfully when he said he considered his own accomplishments as garbage compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.  Our t...

God is a good Father who believes in you, teaches you, and protects you in ways you may never fully see.  Psalm 24 makes clear that living under His blessing comes with real conditions: clean hands, a pure heart, and a life free from idols. Everything belongs to God, including your finances, your time, and your relationships.  He is not opposed to you having things; He is opposed to things having...

This is the For Liberty & Justice Cowlitz Chapter launch from June 14th, 2026. A transformed heart leads to a transformed life, impacting not just personal spheres but entire communities.  By saying yes to God and rejecting sin, we reflect the fruit of the Spirit. We are called to bring revival and reformation, standing firm in biblical truths even when they are unpopular.  The church must lea...

The battle between faith and politics is fundamentally spiritual, not partisan. When believers retreat from public engagement, they abandon biblical convictions about protecting life, children, and religious liberty.  Pastor Nate Schatzline's journey from California to the Texas State House of Representatives demonstrates how spiritual authority, not political maneuvering, creates lasting cha...

God's care for you extends far beyond what you might imagine. Before you were even born, He knew every detail about you and designed you with intentional purpose.  You are created in God's image, bearing His characteristics of reasoning, feeling, and choosing. This makes you absolutely unique - not a genetic accident, but God's intentional creation. Just as Queen Esther was chosen f...

"The Kingdom of Heaven was now being revealed to the earth through a man; what was hid in the heavens is now being revealed" Special Guest Dr. Jay Leroux speaks on the 8 parable lessons in Matthew 13 that teach not just the value of Heaven but also the value God places on us. Our one-of-a-kind value to God our Father is essential to understanding the price that was paid for us on the cro...

The Hebrew name Jehovah Shammah means 'the Lord is there,' revealing that God is ALWAYS there in every moment of our lives.  From the vastness of space to the depths of despair, God's presence remains constant. Evidence for God's existence surrounds us in creation's precision, life's complexity, and the Bible's historical reliability.  While suffering and evil ch...

True blessing comes from aligning our lives with God's design, not from worldly achievements or get-rich-quick schemes.  Psalm 1 reveals that blessed people avoid taking counsel from the wicked, standing in the way of sinners, and sitting with mockers. Instead, they delight in God's Word and meditate on it daily. Like trees planted by streams of water, blessed individuals remain stable d...

God is immutable and unchanging throughout both the Old and New Testaments.  The same God who performed miracles in biblical times continues to work today with the same mercy and love. Through the prophet Hosea, God declares that He desires mercy above sacrifice, emphasizing that His heart longs for His people to show mercy because He is merciful.  Unlike the cruel world of ancient times where mer...

In our information-rich age, many people remain spiritually clueless about life's most important truths. There's a crucial difference between knowledge (accumulating facts) and wisdom (applying God's truth to daily life).  The prophet Hosea reveals that God's people are destroyed from lack of knowledge, not because truth is unavailable, but because they willfully reject it. All...

Join us as Pastor Chuck teaches a new series on the book of Hosea! The book of Hosea reveals God's relentless love through the prophet's painful marriage to an unfaithful woman named Gomer.  This living parable illustrates how God pursues His people even when they abandon Him for other gods and idols. Their three children bore prophetic names representing judgment: Jezreel (God scatters)...
