In Death in Venice, Nobel Prize-winning author Thomas Mann weaves a haunting tale of obsession and beauty. The novella follows Gustav von Aschenbach, a celebrated writer in his early 50s, who, having faced the loss of his wife and grappling with his own declining health, travels to the enchanting city of Venice.
