Cosmic Crit: A Starfinder Actual Play Podcast

In this very special episode, we get a look at life aboard the Rusty Rivet. The fine folks of The Called Shot Podcast joined our GM Patrick for a fun one-off, playing as the pirates in Captain Okwana's crew of space pirates.

On their way to meet up with Captain Okwana and her crew, our heroes are beset by mysterious -- and aggressive -- starcraft.

Our heroes descend into the Star Eater's Spine to figure out what happened to the Cult of the Devourer.

In this week's Special Episode, the Cosmic Crit crew celebrates the announcement of Pathfinder 2nd Edition by playing a game of OG Fantasy TTRPG. Will they end up liking Pathfinder over Starfinder and change the show's format? Since this is our April Fools episode, probably not.

Our heroes discover a pile of corpses and a cavern of cuties before facing off against the big bad. Will they succeed or be added to the pile?

Edrass enters the Rusty Rivet alone, to find old friends -- and enemies. After their tangle with the pirates, the team heads to K-2904 in the Diaspora, continuing their search for Cult of the Devourer fanatics.

The team finds themselves embroiled in a street fight with mercenaries searching for Rami. Back at the Drift Rider, they find the goblins terrified of a ferocious beast who has boarded the ship. Things go from bad to worse when they are approached by a pirate ship in the Diaspora. Crit Bits: Find out what the philosophoblins Bumfuzzle and Caddywampus have been up to on the Drift Rider while the cr...

Following their harrowing journey through the jungles of Ukalam, the adventurers head back to civilization. Alyndra and Andis-147 are in for a big surprise when they return to the University of Qabarat. Meanwhile, crushed by Ralkawi's death, Edrass goes to great lengths to revive her.

An intricate puzzle and sentient statues guard the inner sanctum. Alyndra has a visionary experience. The group faces off against the famed cult leader Tahomen.

Arriving at the door to the temple, our heroes find it guarded by an ancient elf. Stellar knowledge proves useful as they traverse the temple's antechamber in search of the cultists. Will they survive the elven traps? Will they find those whom they seek?

Our heroes find themselves running into obstacle after obstacle in this episode as they make their way to the Temple. Unfortunately, not everyone gets there unscathed.

Our heroes find themselves face to face with a massive Rinkroda -- the pointy-toothed creature the botanist warned Gnak about. But they soon discover that yet more foes await them as they journey deeper into the jungle.

Freshly leveled up, our adventurers continue their journey through the jungles of Castrovel. But soon they realize they're being hunted... and they're not the only ones.

The crew find the jungles of Ukulam on Castrovel inhospitable, to say the least, as they battle extreme heat, terrifying fauna, and even vicious flora. Will they survive their journey? Crit Bits: Learn a bit about Rami, the moody technomancer, and the origins of all those trust issues.

Our heroes venture out into grittier areas of Qabarat in search of clues as to the whereabouts of the missing Professor. But they quickly find themselves separated and under attack.

Arriving on Castrovel, our adventurers find a scandal has struck the University of Qabarat. Arriving on Castrovel, our adventurers find a scandal has struck the University of Qabarat. Crit Bits: Friend of the show, Family Guy staff writer, and all-around great guy Dan Peck joins us for this Crit Bit to talk roleplaying games and Starfinder.

Our heroes return triumphantly to Absalom Station to find that they have gone viral on the Infosphere, thanks to their adventures on the Drift Rock streamed on Eoxian Reality TV. At Starfinder Society HQ, they are given their next mission: to follow in the footsteps of a Lashunta Explorer and head to Qabarat University on Castrovel. They also visit the Eoxian ambassador Nor, who points out somethi...

High above the city of L.A. a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. One group has managed to escape… A band of skittermanders hiding somewhere inside. They’re eager, hyper… and the only chance anyone has got. Crit Bit: Interview with Thurston "Thursty" Hillman

Our heroes board their newfound ship and make their way back to Absalom Station. But they quickly find the journey won't quite be 'smooth sailing' they hoped for. A familiar, dreadful figure pops up on board, and they find themselves embroiled in space combat with a mysterious ship. Will they make it back to Pact Space alive (and still friends)?

Deep in the bowels of the Drift Rock, our adventurers discover the fate of one M. Nash. Who was she, and what dangers do her logs portend? A welcome sight awaits them at the end of their exploratory quest. Crit Bits: Rob McCreary, Starfinder developer and author of Incident at Absalom Station, joins us to talk all things Starfinder.

Cautiously, the group continues their search through the mysterious cave on the Drift Rock. But they quickly discover they aren't alone. Will they survive the zombie-infested cave? And just what kind of "cave" is this, after all?

For the first time since joining forces, the group splits the party, as ANDIS-147 flies off in pursuit of their nemesis, Darius Gilcrest. Who will live and who will die out there on that drift rock? Crit Bit: Get to know Alyndra Vallis.

All healed up, our heroes venture out of the Acreon and to the dreaded drift rock. While they're not sure exactly what they're looking for, what they do find is certainly not what they had expected. So... what's down there on that rock? Crit Bit: Hear a haunting story from ANDIS-147's past.

We join our heroes as they attempt to rest up, but their respite is short-lived as one of the already-weakened party members is bitten for a second time. They do get some help from some old "friends," though -- familiar faces from Episode 3: Gobstopped.

Our adventurers proceed with their search of the Acreon, but another teammate falls prey to the Akata -- who will it be?
