Big Boy Voices

Jon Henderson and Justin McGinnis, two passionate movie goers, took to the Big Boy Voices mic to dive deep into the controversial world of movie remakes and reboots . From the visually stunning and narratively complex Dune , which elevated Frank Herbert’s sci-fi epic for a new generation, to the slick and stylish Ocean’s Eleven , which transformed a 1960s Rat Pack heist flick into one of the coole...

Three friends embark on their annual cross-country motorcycle road trip. Take a listen to a conversation Jon, Marc, and Jason have on the deck of a motel called the Hill Top Hitching Post in Marion Montana we were fortunate enough to stumble over when everything else in the area was sold out. The audio is kind of wonky as we used a different type of setup. But the cameo from local Montan dignitary...

The boys chat up Jons new anxiety discovery and how it impacted his world. The help he's looking for and some of the conversations we've had about mental health. This is an honest conversation about feelings, stress, and everything that comes with that. Enjoy Episode #15th of Big Boy Voices.

On the last day of March 2021, the boys got their chat on for episode 14. The 70-minute discussion covered a flurry of topics ranging from the Rona to juice cleanse to reptiles and more. Lots of banter and a ton of laughs as Coby is still trapped in his Atlantic City high-rise condo.

On episode 13 of Big Boy Voices, Coby got the Rona, so the boys take 63 minutes to chat up the virus while Coby zooms from his bed. We ask the question who would win in a fight 25-year-old Trump or Biden toss in some basketball talk, and boom, we got an episode! Enjoy.

In episode 12 of big boy voices, the boys explore the intricacies that are the recent trends in canceled culture. Who, what, where, and why are just some of the questions we pose. Is it virtue signaling, or does the movement have merit? We’re not sure we solve the problem. We’re 100% sure we didn’t! We added our two cents to the universe, had a couple of laughs, and ultimately ended just as confus...

Episode #9 is part one of unpacking all things Crypto we ask Crypto expert Jason Brown to explain  crypto to us like we were second graders. The internet is abuzz with thousands of different coins. What makes one more valuable than the rest, or how do you use crypto in everyday life.  Why is crypto is a must for investors and the future of money?   If you dig it, spread the word and subscribe.

Jason, Jon, and Coby welcome Dave Sholler, Executive Vice President of Communications for the Philadelphia 76ers, to Big Boy Voices episode eight. We enjoyed the opportunity to have this conversation and share this story of perseverance and overcoming addiction's effects on a family.  Coby got teary-eyed, so we distracted him with UFC and NBA talk in what is nothing short of a story of inspiration...

There is no longer an argument weed is here and legal in 21 states and more to come. The boys get down to the nitty-gritty of all things  of all things cannabis in a conversation with Marijuana cultivator Lou Good Leaf in a deep dive, including strains, regions, legal vs. illegal, taxation, incarceration, and more.  This was a great learning experience for all of us and all over the place so keep...

The boys pop their podcast guest cherry when they invite long time friend, gin distiller, cocktail enthusiast, and entrepreneur Brian Ireland to Somers Point Cigar Lounge  for cigars, cocktails, and shenanigans.   In this episode, Jon, Coby, and Jason spend some time smoking cigars and having a Gin conversation with Mr. Fingers Alibi Gin's creator, Brian Ireland.  Brian walks the boys through the...

When we set out to do the podcast, we never gave much thought to letting the people know who we were or why they should listen. We assumed that the folks listening already knew us.  With a couple of episodes in the vault, the one feedback we got was, "who the f--k are these guys" and that's a completely fair question.  After all, who wants to listen to three guys, you know so little about.  Here's...

On our second episode of Big Boy Voices, we talk about the previous podcast touch on the Impeachment, the new app Clubhouse, and our mental health experiences during covid with some mild ramblings conversations  with laughs.   Slam that subscribes button and give us some feed back.  Thanks for listening.

Today's plan for the first pod was to talk primarily about why the heck we are doing a podcast and ended up being a rant about Kanye, Trump, Netflix  pop culture and so.  Take a listen like and subscribe.

In the beginning, there were voices!  Welcome to Big Boy Voices the Podcast.  You are about to listen to the start of what we hope will be a truly interactive  series of conversations.   Please subscribe and spread the word.
