Ashamed of Thrones

We are not going to sugar-coat it, this episode of Game of Thrones stinks. However, this episode of Ashamed of Thrones is great. We turn lemons into lemon cakes for Season 4 Episode 5, 'The First of His Name.'

If you thought things could get more repugnant last week, wait until you get a load Karl Tanner's AirBnB. We didn't think it was possible, but somehow thing have actually gotten worse for the woman of Craster's Keep. Brian is back to his old self and ready to tackle, Season 7 Episode 4 of Game of Thrones, 'Oathkeeper.'

Oh Boy!  This is one of for the Shameful Hall of Fame.  We try to figure out why the show runners are such creeps who love pee and sexual violence.  Thank goodness Germaine is here this week to sort it all out.

Better known as the 'Purple Wedding', "The Lion and The Rose" sees the demise of one Joffery Baratheon(Spoiler Alert). Doug is off his game but that doesn't take away the shear enjoyment of watching a child choke to death.

Dem Boys are back at it. This time breaking down a brand new(new to the podcast anyway) season of Game of Thrones. 'Two Swords' is a rocky start to season 4 that is narrowly saved by the arrive of Colonel Sandor and his chickens.

Brain and Doug are back at it. This time they are wrapping up Season 3 of Game of Thrones, Mhysa. ...and we learn a lot about almonds.

Chaos is an overblown metaphor in this Season 3 episode, 'The Climb.' ...and Ros finally gets what she deserves.

We meet several important characters for the first time, including Ramsey Bolton and The Queen of Thorns. Which is too close to "Thrones" for my liking. Also, Brian shows up this time.

We wrap up Season 2 of Game of Thrones by discussing episode 10, Valar Morghulis.

Episode 9 of a Game of Thrones' season usually doesn't disappoints, and despite the rest of this dreadful season, Blackwater delivers. It's all King's Landing all the time. Because it was such a big episode, we needed help from a "fan-favorite" guest host, Germaine.

The best thing you can say about an episode 8, is that episode 9 is right around the corner. In "The Prince of Winterfell," we get the beginning of a blossoming romantic between Brienne and Jamie. The Bronn and Tyrion Show is in full effect, and Brian is more talkative this week. And no Germaine!

Brian shows up and everything goes as planned. Later we are joined by a very "spooky" surprised guest as we review Episode 7 of Game of Thrones Season 2, "A Man Without Honor"

Arya and Grandpa Tywin bond over how stupid everyone else is, Jon get rubbed up on by a snow rat and Dany's all, "Where are my dragons!"  We watch Season 2 Episode 6 of A Game of Thrones entitled, The Old Gods and The New, so you don't have to.

In the ‘Husk of Harrnehal,’ Ayra bonds with Grandpa Tywin and gets 3 wishes from a death genie. Jon volunteers auditions for a role in the Half-Hand’s suicide squad and Davos gives Stannis xenophobic political advise. We are mostly back to our normal, peppy selves this week as we review episode 2 of the second season of HBO's A Game of Thrones. This episode is chock full of shameful moments. From The Crastor's Creep adoption program and Shae's hot Fish Pie, to Lifflefinger's employees lack of hygiene. Thanks, GOT. We finally know why Julia Roberts never kissed anyone on the mouth in 'Pretty Woman.'
