In the same year that the now legendary Mothman, and its paranormal brethren, swooped down to terrorize the citizens of Point Pleasant; the state of West Virginia played host to an equally unnerving, if much more obscure, cryptozoological phenomenon that reared its staggeringly bulky, yet remarkably headless form; triggering a region-wide monster frenzy that, almost inexplicably, remained all but...

Just before Halloween, in the late 1970s, the entire student body of an elite military school in Florida revolted after claiming to be attacked by multiple demonic forces. It would be an event that would leave many injured, more confused and almost all scarred for life… and which the Miami News would memorialize under the incredible headline "Ouija Riot Baffles Police." The worlds of cryptozoology, ufology and the paranormal are riddled with seemingly unsolvable mysteries that appear to defy any rational explanation. These disparate fields seem to be linked only by the fact that the questions each deals with seem to infuriate traditional academics, but for some the overriding enigma has an answer that is stupefyingly simple… every light in the sky, every bump in...

Paranormal lore is littered with tales of repulsive things lurking in dark and isolated places where God fearing folk are reluctant to tread. While many of these unfathomable fiends assume at least remotely familiar forms of wolves, wildmen or prehistoric monsters, there is one whose shape is as amorphous and enigmatic as its origins; a seemingly sentient entity renowned for one thing… its consump...

In the mid-1960's a British family of three was enjoying a pleasant afternoon of walking and picture taking on a grassy glade near a picturesque marsh.
