Let's Be Friends!

In this episode, I take you on a journey of how we believe God showed us that He wanted us to move and what God taught me in the process from the Sunday school lesson He gave me entitled: "The City Which Thou Hast Chosen" from 1 Kings 8:46-52.

I love looking for ways to learn things and for what God is teaching me in any and all things! Here's what I learned on vacation this year!

Do you still struggle with the basics of Christianity even after years of being saved? It's time to grow up.

Sometimes we think in order for God to use us or be happy with us, we have to do something big, and hard. But what if that's not the case? What if he gives you easy things to be faithful in and content with? What do you do when your easy is hard?

What fiction have you created in your mind? What plans do you have that are not yet? What about your reality? Does all of it line up with God's plans for your life?

In order to pour into others lives, we need to be poured into ourselves by Christ. Are we hasty in our time spent with him? Or do we take the time to let him fill us up? When you go to pour into others, are you full?

At some point in life, we all face hard things. Whether it be hard times, or hard decisions, there's always hope and someone waiting to help! I share a bit about some of my hard things and what God has taught me through them.

Is life impossible? Have you decided the problems you deal with are now who you are and that's just how it goes? What if I told you, it's all in your head?

Do you stress over decisions? Do you weigh the pros and cons of a decision till you have a headache? Why not try having faith instead! God's will and timing always work out better than we can imagine anyways!

There's more to love than just romance and your significant other. Join me as we learn a bit of history behind a couple hymns about God's love and about Valentine's day itself! 

People argue over so many things. But the answers can all be found in God's word if we would take the time to read and study it! Then pray about what you read and ask God to show you how He wants you to apply it! I share some of the things God has been showing me and hope you'll be encouraged to read your Bible and pray every day so you can grow closer to Christ!

It can be very easy to listen to the voices in our head that want to tear us down and discourage us. But fear not! The truth of God's word is here to help!

Trusting God is easier said than done. But it's so worth it! In this episode I share some of my favorite verses about trusting God and some of my personal experiences that God has used to help me trust him more!
