Chinese Poetry for My Daughter 给女儿的古诗课
A mother and daughter rediscover classical Chinese poetry together. May Ma, a Paris-based storyteller, returns to her mother—a retired Chinese literature teacher in Suzhou—and to her mother tongue through these poems. Each episode is a quiet conversation around one poem, its beauty, its meaning, and why it still speaks to us today. For anyone who grew up with these poems, moved away from them, or is discovering them for the first time. New episodes bi-weekly. One poem at a time. CreditsTheme music adapted from “Shui Diao Ge Tou”《水调歌头》 and performed by May Ma Video edited by Zhou Hang
