I met Jake Hunsinger when I was booked on a bill with him at a venue called Askew. It was his birthday bash and an assortment of fun musicians were on the event. From our brief conversations throughout the evening, I knew I would enjoy a longer conversation with him. We talk bio, PA, songwriting, genre, country, and more.

Whitney Sanchez is a vocalist, dancer, and yoga instructor in Providence, RI. We met at an open mic. We sat down to discuss the pursuit of an artistic life, confidence, travel, and more.

I met Kenneth Weinreich at a dog park in Providence, RI. As we chatted, I learned that he is a graffiti artist, skateboarder, and chef with an interest in many other expressive disciplines. This conversation was a cool insight into life in Providence for a rebellious creative.

I first saw Seth Williams at a song swap at Gas Hill. I liked his songs and his vibe. I also really like his van. His van, vibe, and music will all be on display at the music and art festival that his family started – Power and Sound Revival, taking place on May 20th.

I first met Gregg when he attended Pop-Tart Fest, AKA National Play Music on the Porch Day, AKA my 33rd birthday party. Gregg shows up and played some songs and we became friends pretty much instantly. We actually do a song swap mid-episode, which was very cool and I think it will happen more often on Red House. Also, happy anniversary to Gregg and his wife.

Power & Sound Revival is a music and arts festival taking place in Elon NC on May 20th. I spoke with the founders of the festival about the vision of the event, how it came to be, and what it will become.

Big Dumb Hick (AKA Jeff Wall) is a songwriting out of Kernersville, NC who is full of jokes and stories. We talk about everything from ADHD to his new book to performing at a nudist community.
