Ultimate Frisbee Outsiders

Johnny Goodtimes and Charlie Hoppes chat with two of the stars of the Oakland Spiders championship team, Walker Frankenberg and Jason Vallee. They discuss their love of ultimate, the passion they have to represent Oakland, and why they had a bit of a chip on their shoulder on Championship Weekend.

JGT, Charlie, and our good buddy Rich Slaton of Pardon My Huck break down the incredible developments of Championship Weekend. How did Oakland completely dominate the two most elite teams in the UFA, New York and Minnesota? Why is Walker Frankenberg so unstoppable? And why is Oakland going to dominate the West for years to come? #ultimatefrisbee #ultimate #frisbee #UFA

Charlie and JGT sit down with James Pollard, who signed with the Indianapolis Alleycats in the offseason, about how he landed in Indy. We also go to the mailbag, where we took questions about why there aren't more cross-divisional games, why ultimate isn't in the Olympics, and whether or not the one-game suspension for the jersey rule is appropriate.

The UFO launches with Shaggy, Charlie, and Johnny discussing the biggest free agent signings in the UFA, they debate the "shirt tugging" rule, and whether Boston, New York, or DC won the offseason arms race in the East.
