Introduction Welcome to the audio tour for Through My Eyes: An Artist's Re-Creation by Maureen Coles. Walking the beach, hearing the roar of the waves crashing against enormous rocks, smells of salty brine with the sand squishing between your toes. #6. Gulf Island Trail 48 x 24, Acrylic on canvas The heat of the sun dapples the forest trail, leaving deep shadows and blues and purples behind. Vivid colors of orange and green dappled beside brilliant blues on tree bark. Smelling the heat of the needle strewn path envelopes you in summer. #7. Sunrise Over English Bay 24 x 36. Acrylic on canvas. A spectacle of brilliant colours welcome the day over a calm sea. A variety of jewel tones sparkle over the ocean. A sunrise always brings a promise of a wonderful day. #9. Magic in the Beaver Pond 24 x 24, Acrylic on canvas. Summer sun warms the marsh grasses and leaves deep shadows on fallen logs of blues and purples. Such drama of the blue hues and the shadowed logs against the striking lemon green grasses are exciting and invigorating. #10. Creek in the Forest 36 x 24 Acrylic on canvas. A tiny creek wriggles through the shade of towering trees. Summer sun trickles through the branches, leaving  hot pools of orange and yellow light beside deep shadows of blue and purple trees. This moment brings such calm and peace to me. Sounds of the babbling creek, gentle warm breezes through the branches, and the escape from the summer heat....
