Divide and conquer is the name of the game as R Cell races to seal the gates and stop Them. Things that should be small get bigger. Things that were big get smaller (but still weird). Some unnerving things are unrelated, some relations have unnerving things. Time to move to-ward a solution.

Another agent reveals some potentially relevant info to the team, as both the too-verdant foliage and the unnervingly Unnatural you-know-whats seem to proliferate. The agents attempt to settle in for the night, but R Cell has never been known to truly get a peaceful rest… Content Warnings: Gunshot (44:41)

Them is already here. Them is feeding. Them is ready. Them will ascend and reset the timeline. Uuuuuuugh...this is gonna suck.

Listening to audio files has been historically as safe as reading books for R Cell, so they dive right in. River has reflux, Reuben has rambles, the radio reports and…the ritual is ready? R.I.P. Rental.

It’s finally the later when things get explained, as Ross and Regan fill their teammates in on a little more of what they know. All the agents continue to encounter their least favorite recurring Unnatural phenomenon as their exploration and investigation seem to trickle deeper down the conspiracy pipeline. A “friend” from the past is more blast than one agent can handle as the team gets the lowdown on lore from some locals. Everything old is new again, and some of the agents of R Cell are less than thrilled when their latest mission points them back to a previous incident they’d rather have left in their past. That was weirdly public...I would have expected a dead drop or something?

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Time might heal all wounds, but that doesn't mean it won't leave a few scars behind too.

Sometimes, usually, there is no perfect ending in this kind of work. There is only hoping the right sacrifices were made, and that the light shines a little longer because of it.

Reuniting the team might mean opening doors that were better left closed, both literally and metaphysically. Still, when one of the agents has always been a little out of time, R Cell was going to have to face the risk sooner and later. CW: Swarm/Bug sounds

One team member missing, the rest scrambling through the chaos of the church, and there's no more time to wait and see what unfolds. All the members of R Cell are jumping into action to finally get some answers, but some of those answers might come with greater repercussions than anyone expected. CW: Gunshots

The clock is ticking fast on this investigation. Regan and Ross unlocked some "hot goss," but Rowan and Reuben still have shivers down their spines, while River resists a revelation none of R Cell was ready for... Content Warnings: Gunshots

The community outside Hourglass has been welcoming to the team...maybe too welcoming. Strange children, strange voices, and strange handshakes all suggest that there may be something deeply sinister brewing beneath the pleasant surface of this traditionalist mountain community. Can old friends and esoteric knowledge lead R Cell to some answers before they're in too deep?

A train ride through the mountains should have been simple after the "minor excitement" of the night before, but the team is more on edge than ever. Multiple agents suddenly had concerned calls from family, and after one too many strange sightings on the train, R Cell has to worry. Could the local cult-church-community actually be linked to a previous investigation? Or have so many past missions f...

Fast action means fast results as R Cell quickly mobilizes to asses a possible threat to the teen streamer behind the viral video, but the team should know by now that no action goes unnoticed. It seems the threat might be both real and more dangerous that anticipated, and the unexpected appearance of someone from the team's past suggests something more sinister could be at work in Hourglass.

The split team has made some progress in getting a better picture of this strange local church community, even if cocktails and libraries were both involved. But just before they can start to really dig in to assess these findings, a worrying new video crosses their feeds that needs immediate action.

Hidden writing and disappearing books aren't a comforting start to the investigation, but at least the team has new leads to follow as they try to get back to the two most urgent questions: what happened to the woman in that viral video, and why do they need to get involved?

The agents arrive in Hourglass, brimming with even more strange new concerns after their road-trip research. With so many possible leads to investigate, and still very little direction from above on what they're looking for, it's time to start asking questions.
