The Midweek Surge

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” — John 4:35 (KJV) Time is the unit by which life is measured, and many important things in life are time-bound. There are opportunities and seasons that, once missed, may take another cycle to come around. Jesus, while speaking...

“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1 Thanksgiving is the language of conquerors. It is the language of men and women of faith. David’s declaration in Psalm 34 was an expression of his faith and gratitude towards the God who is always faithful. He made a decision: “I will bless the Lord at all times.” At all times means regardless of the ci...

he Bible, on different occasions, describes God as the Rewarder . This is a consistent aspect of His character. Someone once said, “Faith honours God, and God honours faith.” There is no act of devotion towards God that is ever lost. Nothing you do in faith goes unnoticed by Him—and this includes your prayers. Have you been praying and it seems as though you are wasting your time? Have you remaine...

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16 This revelation is one of the great encouragements of Scripture to get into the place of prayer. As long as a man has right standing with God through faith in Christ Jesus, the potency of his prayer cannot be underestimated. The effectiveness of his prayer is immense. There is tremendous power available when the righteous p...

Times of Refreshing Who would have thought that God is in the business of refreshment? Yes, indeed, God is in the business of refreshing His people! David reminds us in Psalm 23 that God is able to bring refreshment to our souls. The One who changes times and seasons is able to usher us into seasons of rest, peace, prosperity, and the joyful enjoyment of His goodness. In this episode, God’s prophe...

The Scriptures are filled with stories of men and women who received a fresh start from the Lord. We can confidently say that our God is a God of newness. He is the Master of turning things around, restoring what was lost, and making the past look like it never happened. In this episode, the Lord is sending a prophetic word to you: the time is set, and the time is now for a new beginning. The One...

Diligence is one of those admirable qualities that never goes unnoticed. Whether before God or before men, diligence remains a powerful key to receiving favour and gaining access to people who matter. God’s servant, Apostle Joshua Selman, says,  “Who hates you does not matter, but who likes you matters.”  When a king favours you, it changes the dynamics of your life. Throughout Scripture, we see m...

The Love of God is such an important and fundamental part of the Christian faith. Everything rests on the unexplainable love that God has for us—a love so great that He gave His only Son for us. When life gets tough and seasons of transition beckon, feeling lonely and abandoned can be a common experience. But even in those moments, we must walk with the consciousness that the love of God is always...

God always stands by His covenant. A covenant is a formal, serious, and binding agreement or promise between two or more parties. Every time God makes a promise, it becomes a covenant. He is not a gainsayer, nor does He speak in error only to retract His word later.  God’s Word must always come to pass. Are you feeling discouraged, or have you recently received a promise from God? Be encouraged to...

“Healing is the children’s bread” is a Christian phrase that some may consider a cliché or far-fetched today. Yet the truth of this statement cannot be overemphasized: healing is one of the precious provisions a believer has cheap access to through Christ. Jesus is willing and deeply interested in seeing you healed. Throughout His earthly ministry, He demonstrated compassion and power toward the s...

Life has a way of leaving us weary, discouraged, and feeling like we have nothing left to give. But God's Word reminds us that His strength is made available to those who are weak. In this episode, we explore the transforming power of God—the One who creates something out of nothing, exchanges beauty for ashes, and brings hope where there seems to be none. Through the promises found in Isaiah,...

Faith is at the very heart of the Christian life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God or walk closely with Him. That is why our faith is often the primary target of the enemy's attacks—from attempts to steal the seed of God's Word that produces faith to life's trials that seek to choke out the Word planted in our hearts. Yet God, in His wisdom and love, calls us to cast all o...

The Lord we serve is a God of perfection. He never begins what He cannot finish, and He never leaves His work incomplete. In this episode, Another Touch , we reflect on the powerful story of the blind man who received a second touch from Jesus—a reminder that God is willing to touch us again until His perfect work is accomplished. Many of us have experienced what seems like an answer to prayer, ye...

In this episode, we explore the biblical truth of God's appointed timing. Scripture reminds us that God makes everything beautiful in its time and that there is a season for everything under heaven. Comfort is a beautiful word. It speaks of rest, tranquility, relief from pain, and strength in the midst of life's struggles. It reminds us of the peace that comes when help arrives just when we need it most. This is a beautiful picture of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Too often, we go through our daily lives without engaging the ministry of the Comforter. We live as though we...

Altars are places of spiritual exchange. As Christians, our primary altar is the place of prayer, where we offer spiritual sacrifices to God. When Elijah called down fire from heaven, he didn't simply pray—he first rebuilt the altar. Could it be that one reason we long to see the fire of the God who answers by fire is because the altars in our lives have been neglected or broken? Jesus underst...

The story of Elijah and the Prophets of Baal remains one of the most epic stories in the Bible. A man so confident in his God, so bold in faith, and so determined to demonstrate His power, issued a challenge before a skeptical nation. We all know how it ended—the God of Elijah showed up and answered by fire! In this episode, be reminded that the God of Elijah is your God. He has not lost His power...

One of the unchanging truths in this world is the goodness of God. Goodness is not merely something God does—it is who He is. It is the very essence of His nature. Everything God does is good, even when His ways are difficult to understand or circumstances seem painful. No matter what you may be facing today, do not believe the lie that God is harsh or against you. When challenges rise up and life...

"It is well" is more than a cliché, a Christian phrase, or a display of faith and strength in the Lord. It is a divine promise—a reminder that the end of the righteous is always well. No matter the afflictions, trials, or challenges the righteous may face, God remains faithful to deliver them through it all. His Word assures us that the righteous are never forsaken, their children never...

The seasons of life are not determined only by the earth’s revolution around the sun. There is a Master in heaven who changes times and seasons — the One who lifts up and pulls down, who opens and closes doors, the Alpha and the Omega, the Almighty God. God is able to create a new year within a year. He is able to open new chapters, new seasons, new experiences, and fresh anointing. Just as He spo...

The life of a believer is meant to shine brighter and brighter. Yet today, many live as though their strength diminishes with each passing day. Nevertheless, God’s plan and desire for us remain the same: that we go from strength to strength. The secret to renewed strength is simple — appearing before the Lord. His presence is the place of strength. Jesus never treated the presence of God casually...

Jesus, the ever-living Word of God, is the Rock that cannot be moved. Scripture states unequivocally that those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion — unshaken and immovable. Where you position yourself determines what happens when the “natural disasters” of life come. Life is full of unexpected storms, trials, and troubles we never plan for. Yet the anchor that holds the soul together and ke...

When life throws its hardest blows at us, we often begin to feel isolated, alone, helpless, and misunderstood. The pounding heart, the rising anxiety, sleepless nights, and overwhelming pressure can make it seem like no one truly understands the weight we carry in times of trouble. But the Word of God remains firm and true: our High Priest knows. Jesus knows the feeling. He is touched by our infir...

Seasons come and seasons go, but the marvelous love of the Lord remains forever. In life, there are seasons of trouble and pain—times that feel overwhelming and uncertain. Jesus Himself assures us that we will face such moments. But trouble is not the end of the story. There is another season coming—a season of joy, rejoicing, and restoration. This is the promise of Jesus: “I have overcome the wor...

In this powerful episode, we explore the profound truth of dominion—one of the foundational revelations every believer must embrace to fully walk in the life Christ has given. Jesus didn’t just die for our sins; He rose and lives to secure our victory, restoring us to the place of authority God originally intended for humanity at creation. Through Christ, you have been lifted and positioned in a p...
