The Local Showcase with Mandy P

The lure of great music at one of the many stages at Victorious Festival last year brought old friends back together – and sparked something unexpected. Jo Gray met up with Petersfield teacher Joe and Abbie from James Joe to hear how a chance encounter, a twist of fate and a shared love of music led to the formation of the band. For more about their music find @jamesjoemusic on social media....

We've got new music from Richard 'Ricky' Palmer and James Joe, who shares the story of how a chance reunion at Victorious Festival led to the formation of the band. Plus, there’s plenty more great music from a fantastic line-up of talented home-grown artists. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Join Jo and enjoy a great selection of music from local artists from across the Petersphere and beyond, from Ward Thomas to Mark Handley, with Becky Thomas and lots more talent in-between. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this show we hear from local country music singer songwriter Paul Jupe and there's some jazzy instalments backstage with Jo Gray meeting Alice Milburn at Victorious Festival.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We catch up with Mackenzie Music at Victorious Festival, she shares the story of her journey—from performing on smaller stages to making her way to the Common Stage and beyond.
