Terpene Therapy

This week we're outside on a beautiful day in nature enjoying the first release of the Terp Style Rainbow Zlushies flower paired with Cheesequake + Mimosa blended rosin in a masterfully rolled hash hole by Imprint Rolling Co.  The wind died down right on time to light this one up and it took my mind for a ride! I decided to experiment with a bit of a walking meditation/stream of consciousness...

This week we're hanging out at HREAM in SW Michigan to continue the conversation with Hempknight Melts! Featured on #078, there's been a lot of changes in his world since then! With Nectar Of The Gods going out of business, his entire SOP has been revamped! The new branding for the jars looks great as well! And we dive into a bit more of his background as both a hashmaker and individual!...

This week, we're building out a dry-tent and chopping down the Tropaya tomatoes! This is where months of effort, stress, and pride can go straight down the drain. Drying and curing is (possibly) the most important time when it comes to producing a tomato that burns with a white ash, oil ring, and full flavor to the glass tip. The smell from the plant is very nice and has a sour candy element...

During the Hash Bash weekend in Ann Arbor, I had the opportunity to capture a conversation with photographer & activist Leni Sinclair. We discussed how Hash Bash came to be & how cannabis is still used as a political tool! This conversation is one that holds a lot of value, and is worth multiple listens! The rabbit hole is nearly endless and worth researching for yourself! It's worth...

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Shoreline Smokeout and I had the opportunity to moderate an educational panel on cultivation techniques and theory for Michigan's various environmental regions. This panel was comprised of six cultivators:  Country Roots, Nick Risden/Lyme Rising Farms, Rising Moon Medicinals, Ray Kudronic, Thee Mustache, and Ohana Farms MI.  We captured perspectives on genetic...

This week we're at the smallest Terp Table yet on a beautiful lake in MI to reconnect with @oghashcraft ! We met last fall at The Smoking Jacket '24 up in NY! They are a single source brand and produce high quality indoor living soil resin & press it all in house! In this one, we discuss the history of their brand, their switch from Pop-Vacs to Mirons, and the importance of treating...

This week we're back at the orignal Terp Table to discuss the new federally compliant hemp rosin drop from Cammy Cat Gardens x Spun Love Hash! They have seven flavors that they dropped on the Roots And Releaf website! The Lilac Diesel is a unique one that stood out to me, since I appreciate good examples of Jack terps! The other jars are great too and are all grown under the Sun in Kentucky s...

This week we're back in the Tomato Tent to talk a bit about the watering process, the installation of the new carbon filter for the tent (the tropaya tomatoes are getting resinous as fuck, definitely needed one!) I also chop down the buckwheat and millet to do the final chop and drop on the last 30gal pot for this round! I also harvested a few buckwheat seeds, not enough to mill and make flou...

This week we're at the original Terp Table & Tomato Tent to discuss the new Who's Who x Humble Hills collaboration series jars! They released a limited lineup of indoor living soil flavors consisting of: Afghani Cakes, Detroit Muscle, and Hash Burger! The Detroit Muscle is my personal favorite; it's almost too hard to decide though! I also talk a little bit about providing food...

This week we're both at the Terp Table and the Terp Tent for the 2nd round of defoliation work! For small indoor gardens, this process is advantageous to the health of your environment. It allows for better airflow and photon exposure to the lower bud sites! It also causes a bit of healthy stress for the plant, which isn't bad if you know how to manage it! I usually water after the defol...

This morning we're at the original Terp Table to try two different presentations of full melt hash! The first jar is Detroit Muscle 73u-159u melt from Who's Who Solventless x ??? ! The second jar was another delicacy, Mega Peaches #9 cold cured melt 73u-119u from Paisley Acres! I also talk a little bit about the DEM pure certification and what that means for producers & consumers! Ov...

This week we're back at the original Terp Table to revisit rolling techniques! At the end of the episode I also share some cleaning tips for the glass! It's a busy planning season over here at the terp-solarium, so it's always nice to slow down and meditate on the future in real time with a joint! Shout out to Terp Style and Swamp Hash for creating some really fire stuff to smoke on...

This week we're at the Terp Table up in Michigan with Dabbing Diabetic 710! He is the pheno hunter of the award winning Rainbow Zlushies hash rosin ran by Terp Style! One of MI's best indoor resin processors! We sit down to discuss the win at hash vegas, the Terp Style flower, and the Zooted x Terp Style Collab Jar! That jar is a crop circle of Zooted's Grape Gas Cold Cure and Terp...

This week we're in the Tomato Tent doing a major defoliation & harvesting of greens for the compost! I'm working on closing as many loops as I can! You can create closed loops anywhere, even the middle of a city! Doing this process allows for better airflow and more light to hit the plants, especially the Tropaya BX #6. That plant is catching up nicely! I'll be flipping to flowe...

This week we're discussing recent changes & additions to the tent! I've transplanted a Tropaya Bx #6 from Cammy Cat Gardens into the front 20gal pot! She's a slow starter but I've been told once she gets going she'll explode! I'm excited to see the progress of that plant as well as the A.L.H. #2 & #3! They're undergoing the trellis weaving process and rig...

This week we're enjoying a joint of some Z Bx3 flower from a private garden that I've enjoyed for a while, mixed up with some Blueberry Watermelon bubble hash from Swamp Hash! I also give a bit of a tour of the Tomato Tent and show the installation of the trellis! This netting allows for control of the vertical growth and promotes a fuller canopy! I didn't get it on the episode, but...

This week we're at the Terp Table inside Made Gallery , one of Chicago's best locations for heady glass & headier events! I sat down with @slaphappymeds to discuss what makes an event like @ tta_homepage successful, how to avoid certain struggles as both an event coordinator & hash/rosin producer! As time goes on, more and more pop-up style events will be available for people to...

This week we're back at the original Terp Table discussing the effects of topping your cannabis plants! Essentially, topping your plants drastically decreases the amount of auxin in the plant and increases the level of cytokinin. These hormones are responsible for vertical growth (auxin) and lateral growth (cytokinin). Here's the thread where I sourced this information! It's a great...

This year we're starting it off strong by sampling some of the new flavors from the Who's Who Solventless team! This garden exemplifies the level quality that can be achieved with the combination of a good environment, good rhythms, and a love of resin! We tried a few of the flavors from the lineup; this year a total of 18 flavors made the cut! The jars we got into were the RS-11, Candie...

We're ending the year off with my top 10 flavors from this year and reminiscing on one of the terpiest years on record for Terpene Therapy! I hope y'all are having a good holiday season! Here's the top 10 in no order!  Who’s Who - Warheadz.  Lyme Rising Farm - Bickett OG.  Portal Provisions - Sugar Shack.  Black Triangle - Most Dope x Flavuh Flav Farms. Culton Organics - Dr Grinspoo...

This week I'm recovering from a cold! The best way to do that is to take a break from the dabbing and drink some Tea, courtesy of Zach Brown Glass. You know you need a carb cap for the holidays! They make great gifts, even if it's to yourself! Click here to get one! https://zachbrownglass.com/ Terps N Things!   I ate a whole pack of @swamphash edibles and about 1.2 grams of RSO throughou...

This week I'm back at the original terp table to smoke some hash and collect my thoughts before the Sungrown Cup in Muskegon, MI this weekend! I was asked to be a judge for their rosin and melt categories; this is an incredible honor! I will also be capturing a conversation with Country Roots. He is one of the best sources for soil, amendments, and growing accessories in Michigan and I am loo...

This week we're back in the Tomato Tent to discuss the some issues I've encountered during the transplant period! I cover my experience with nitrogen deficiency as well as my emerging battle with thrips! These are all things that can happen in your own garden so I wanted to share a bit of what is going on! As of right now im treating the nitrogen deficiency with Build A Soil's Build...

This year, I wanted to do an episode on being thankful for the ability to cultivate cannabis again! It’s something that not everyone has the space or time to do and I’m glad that I am in a place where I can! I figured for today, I'd take some time to hang out with the plants! I’m also thankful for being able to try so many different flavors from cannabis, and connecting with people who are ju...

This week we're back at the Terp Table in the Wojo Wax facility the day before their 40th harvest! It's an honor to be back to continue the conversation and man, it's a good one! We cover their new custom rosin pen hardware, the issues they've had with their jar suppliers, how they approach selecting genetics to compete with, and their continual learning experiences within thei...
