You can text us here! Not all Christmases are happy. While most of us settle in for a happy, family oriented time, tragedy and horror don't take a break for the season.  This week we look at some of the incidents that have ruined Xmas for others, and left unsolved mysteries in their wake. Regardless, we wish all our listeners a merry Xmas, and look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year!...

You can text us here! Mark Hoffman is an author, journalist and playwright, and he joined us to talk about his new book, 'Good Mourning... A Guide To Biting The Big One... And Dying Too'. The book itself is a rather irreverent look at some of the customs and rituals surrounding death in different cultures, along with a study of human emotions.  Written a couple of weeks after the death of his own...

You can text us here! You can text us here! Alien sightings and visitations affect different cultures in different ways.  In biblical times they were called angels and worshipped, Incas feared them, America tries to shoot them down. It is what it is. Japan has a way of encompassing the otherworldly into it's culture that is charming and possibly a little bit cynical. This week we take a look at a few Japanese instances...

You can text us here! Oswald was arrested for the assassination of JFK, then assassinated himself 3 days later.  The conspiracy theories on this case have been done to death, so what we are going to do is take a look at who Lee was, and what made him a perfect fit for the US authorities, who needed to make an arrest as quickly as possible after the death of the president. For such a young man, Osw...

You can text us here! As 65% of us have imaginary friends as children, there are some who for some reason, can't let go of the concept, and carry it on into adulthood. This is called Tulpamancy,, and it involves manifesting a sentient being that you can actually hear in your head. Nonsense? Or a healthy pastime? Surprising opinions from Mark and myself on this one. Interesting stuff. Support the s...

Or worse, made the crimes fit his confessions? This episode, we look at how Swe...

You can text us here! Not a destination holiday. At the peak of Stalin's murder regime, this was possibly one of the worst ideas ever.
