Moroni writes one last message to the future readers of the book.

After Moroni adds the record of the Jaredites to the end of the book his father, Mormon has made, he decides to add a few more things he knows will be important to future readers.

The Jaredites continue to fight one another, until the entire nation is separated into two armies, who fight until nearly everyone is destroyed.

God tells Ether to teach and prophesy to the Jaredites. And Moroni adds his own prophesies too.

King after king either rules in righteousness or wickedness. And God continues to send prophets, to remind the people to follow Him, so that He can bless them, and so that they will not destroy themselves.

When the Jaredites ask for a king, the brother of Jared warns them that it can lead to trouble. King after king either leads the people to righteousness or wickedness.

The Jaredites pack up their boats, and with their glowing stones for light, they are blown by the wind and guided by God to the promised land.

Moroni includes the plates that contain the story of the Jaredites, who had once lived in the north part of the promised land. Jared and his family are guided by God from the Tower of Babel to the seashore.

Mormon gathers all the Nephites to the land of Cumorah for a final battle with the Lamanites.

Back and forth, the Nephites and the Lamanites attack each other and take over cities and are driven back again.

The battles continue between the Nephites and the Lamanites. And at only 16 years old, Mormon is asked to lead the Nephite Army.

Just as Jesus had prophesied, by the fourth generation, the people have all gone from being completely righteous to completely wicked.

Jesus comes to His apostles again, to teach them more about His church. And to give them a special gift.

Jesus asks Nephi to bring Him the record that Nephi has been writing. And then He tells the people of other scriptures that they need to have.

Jesus returns to the people who have gathered at the temple in Bountiful and prays with them and for them.

It's time for Jesus to leave for the day, but He loves the people so much, He stays a little longer to bless them.

Jesus continues to teach the people gathered near the temple in the land of Bountiful.

After the three days of darkness is over, Jesus appears to the people who are left and teaches them.

When destruction and darkness come to the land, the people know the sign has been given of Jesus Christ's death.

The Nephite governor is killed and the people split up into tribes.

The leader of the Gadianton robbers, Giddianhi tries to convince Lachoneus, the governor of the Nephites to join them or be destroyed.

Just like Samuel the Lamanite prophesied, the signs of Jesus Christ's birth begin to happen.
