Pixelated Sausage - Animezingly Baka

After a busy week, I decided to take a break from anime in favor of watching more awful Van Damme movies, catching up with VisionQuest, and revisiting a few movies that pleasantly surprised me.

The Van Damme watching, along with the attempt to watch something from every country, has finally gotten to me and burnout has begun. With Shrinking complete, I need a new relief, and Nathan for You was not that as I failed to connect with the show like so many others. At least the anime is still good with great episodes from The Apothecary Diaries, The Ramparts of Ice, and Blue Box.

Watching Harrison Ford be old (aka, his age) in Shrinking is so nice I might just watch the show twice (I won't) and then there's all the anime, where Maomao saves a couple of sisters and Kazuma continues to piss me off. Also, let's (not) not forget all the awful Van Damme movies I've continued watching...

I create my own ending for Gossip Girl while the latest episode of The Ramparts of Ice tests your patience as Momoka uses her manipulative powers to take Minato the Pushover off the market.

The Fall anime season is finally here and with it comes the return of The Apothecary Diaries, The Ramparts of Ice, Blue Box (and plenty more I haven't watched). Get your Maomao fix nownow!

After forgetting to talk about it last week, I'm back on the Gossip Girl train and this time I'm shipping a duo I never thought I'd ever ship. In addition to all the gossiping, I also wrapped up most of the summer anime season and watched a new all-timer movie.

The fall anime season is just around the corner and, with that, comes a bunch of new (and returning) anime to get excited about; what are you looking forward to?

In this week's episode, I watched a movie I couldn't stand, a movie with a fantastic poster, and a movie ruined by Ryan Reynolds being all Ryan Reynolds-y.

In this week's episode, I finally start Pluto and fall in love with Gossip Girl. Who would have thunk it?

This week's episode features Taira/Azuma fans being fed well, why I could see some not liking Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, and my continued love/hate relationship with Daemons of the Shadow Realm.

This week's episode features my thoughts on last season's Akane-banashi, why The Rockford Files isn't working for me, and why I'm watching Cougar Town even though I hate the main character.

This week's episode features the best looking anime of the season, the best episodes of Daemons of the Shadow Realm to date, and finally some progress for Taira and Azuma in You and I Are Polar Opposites.

This week's episode features a hickey among friends, an unlikeable time traveler, and a show that'll make you want to start smoking (don't).

This week's episode features absolutely no anime, focusing instead on a bunch of movies I didn't like because that always makes for good content, they said in a sarcastic tone.

This week's episode features even more new anime--including Rich Girl Caretaker: I'm Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School--my new favorite movie of the year, and the most fun I've had with a movie all year.

This week's episode features four brand new shows--including Tomb Raider King, Black Torch, Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, and Goodbye, Lara--and my second favorite movie of the year.

This week's episode features a brand new season of anime, including two shows about smoking and the return of You and I Are Polar Opposites.

This week's episode features the end of the spring 2026 season--including the series finale of Dr. Stone--a preview of the upcoming summer 2026 season, and a few weird movies I had a surprisingly good time with.

This week's episode features the usual seasonal anime and me making my way through the IMDb Top 250, including The Wolf of Wall Street, The Sound of Music, and Forrest Gump.

This week's episode features my continued love affair with Marriagetoxin and The Ramparts of Ice, a nice moment in Dr. STONE as it nears the end, and a fun episode of Daemons of the Shadow Realm after last week's intense episode.

This week's episode features some horny episodes of anime, my thoughts on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and my disappointing return to X-Men: The Animated Series.

This week's episode features a movie about a podcast made by someone who's never watched or listened to a podcast, a movie called The Drama with not enough drama, and the usual anime nonsense.

This week's episode features a movie about a podcast made by someone who's never watched or listened to a podcast, a movie called The Drama with not enough drama, and the usual anime nonsense.

This week's episode features Shiori from Marriagetoxin winning me over, a weird thing I noticed about Daemons of the Shadow Realm, and the end of my Netflix Marvel (re)watch--finally.
