What is love? It’s a question we all ask at some point, sometimes in awe, sometimes in agony. Is it a feeling? A choice? A memory? A moment? Is it safe or does it shatter? Is it healing or does it haunt? This piece explores the layers of love and the space between what we’re taught and what we feel.

In my first thought, I discuss the reasoning behind my writing and reflection on how my life has influenced my art. I’ve come to recognize my patterns with personal relationships in this new awakening. In all cycles, we must learn, reflect and grow to begin again.
