Patched! modular synth podcast

In this episode Tom tries to emulate the magic of a popular effects unit.

Tom has Christmas come a little early this year as he deep dives into the Elta Music Solar 42f.

Tom creates an experimental/noisey all analog (mostly) synthesizer to make abrasive and weird sounds.

Tom gets/attempts to justify  a 303 clone, patches it through a bunch of effects, and creates acid techno magic.

Tom creates a full synth voice using the Metamodule by 4MS featuring modules by Befaco. Check out Metamodule.info to try patches like the one used on the show as well as all sorts of other creations by Metamodule owners!

Tom does some therapeutic patching. 

Tom tries his luck at making some improvised old school Drum and Bass using wavetables.

Tom uses the 4MS Meta Module to try out various plugins from the company including the Ensemble oscillator. Tom also talks about his recent experience at Melt and Ooze in Baltimore, an experimental and noise festival at Wax Atlas. Tom talks about past performances and creates a complex additive synthesizer using the Xaoc Devices Odessa and Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas with help from the Tip Top Audio FSU and Intellijel Rainmaker. 

Happy 303 day!! Tom puts together a "small" acid techno system to jam out to in celebration of everything 303.

Tom creates another mini system, this time using the Xaoc Devices Belgrad filter as an Oscillator and running it through various waveshaping and effects! WOW!

Tom creates a VERY complex oscillator and dives a little deeper with the Fala Versio firmware while also exploring the 4MS tapographic delay on the Meta Module.

Tom uses the Noise Engineering Incus Iteritas Alia firmware to create some  hard hitting techno jams. 

Tom puts together a Mutable Instruments (and clone) themed case.

Tom pairs the Make Noise Morphagene with the 4ms Meta Module to create evolving tape loop jams.

Tom creates a powerful multi fx engine using vector mixers and alot of cpu.
