No Güey Out

After being away from the mic for about 9 months, we're back. In a nut shell, I went through a lot of obstacles and health problems since my last recorded episode. It might be a bit depressing but hey, that's life. Thanks for listening.

Harvey Harvz is back! A lot has happened since my last podcast. In a nut shell here's what Harvz has been through. I will get into detail in the following episodes. 

Mayela and I are back and we're talking about machismo. How we grew up with it and how its affected our families. We talk about how a marriage should be 50/50 and how we gotta start showing our kids to be independent. 

This is one key thing my wife and I make sure we do to keep the spark alive in our marriage. Here are a few things that we do that have worked for us. This will always be a big part of our marriage and friendship. A long time ago I was a biker (kinda), I still am at heart. After you listen to this you will understand why after 15 years I cant get myself to ride a motorcycle, even around the block.  Old memories bring back some feelings, enjoy.

I probably shouldn't be but I'm very proud of myself for this personal milestone. 

A very unfiltered rant about my past 3 weeks of drinking. Stress got the best of me and I'm not sure if alcohol helped or made it worse. 

This one is for me to come back and listen to when I miss my daughter. If you have kids, you know what I mean. There is no specific topic, it’s just her and I talking. Thanks for listening. My favorite so far.

Social media is clearly not for everyone. It took me through a wild 3 week ride of emotions. Listen and you be the judge of who won the battle. Me walking away or social media getting the best of me.

The wife is back for a proper introduction. I guess you could say its a part 2 from the previous episode or an actual introduction. She goes into detail about her religious upbringing and her life long struggle with anxiety and how being the youngest of 9 has molded her into the hard working wife, mother, and rock to this small family.  Thanks for listening
