New Life Church

Jessica and Brian discuss our new series, Work & Rest, and explore the starting place for our work: it's intended design. What we experience with work is not always what it is meant to be. They reflect on the message and stir our imagination to see our work differently.

Pastor Brian speaks to us about how God designed our work to be good.

Brian is joined by several of our staff members! Jess, Lisa, and Stacy all join for a reflective conversation of our Wilderness series and what God has done through it. It is encouraging to remember what God has done and been doing.

Pastor Brian speaks to us on Remembering God's faithfulness we're in the wilderness.

Brian and Jess talk about Sunday's message on the Promised Land, Hebrews 3-4, and promised rest. We see how hope informs our wilderness journeys and allows us to persevere through the challenges we face. How will we ever endure Cody's absence?!

While Cody is on Sabbatical, we can finally have a good conversation. Just kidding! Brian is joined by Jess as they discuss this week's message on Numbers 21. We explore how the gospel permeates this story and how it helps us live in light of the gospel. Even though it's all about snakes...

Pastor Brian Wilmarth explores how the wilderness reveals our hearts and our need for God’s rescue. Through the bronze serpent, we see that life in the wilderness comes through death—and ultimately through Jesus’ death on the cross.

In this episode, Brian and Cody dive into one of the most puzzling narratives in the book of Numbers: Moses striking the rock instead of speaking to it, and the surprising, severe consequence that followed. While it sounds like an obscure ancient history lesson about water in the desert, they break down why this strange story is actually a mirror for our own daily frustrations, burnout, and moment...

In this sermon from Pastor Brian Wilmarth, we discover how, despite our failures to represent God faithfully, His grace and truth enable us to represent Him through trusting Him rather than relying on ourselves.

Brian reflects on Sunday's message message from Numbers 13-14. What's our perspective? How do we understand the obstacles we face in life?

Kirk Bode speaks on how we need to face obstacles with faith and not fear.

Couple of days behind on this, but you know what they say: better late than never! Buckle up and focus in as Brian and Cody dive into depths you've never heard or seen, surfacing questions and answers about God's provision through both the biblical wilderness and our modern cultural landscape.

Brian talk through week 2 of our Reconciled series in Philemon and the power of forgiveness.

Kirk Bode preaches from Philemon how the gospel changes how we see and treat people by leading us to forgiveness and reconciliation. True forgiveness is more than an action—it is a heart transformed by the gospel.

Cody navigates the complexities of modern life and advocacy through the lens of the gospel, exploring how true reconciliation is found in Christ.
