We live in a world where everyone has a microphone and certainty is sold by the algorithm, yet God still speaks through His Word. Scripture is not a collection of easy answers but the story of a God who refuses to abandon His people, meeting us in our confusion, doubt, failure, and hope. Come discover why Christians trust the Scriptures. Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:14–17 **For the best uninterrupted li...

Every meaningful journey eventually arrives at a threshold where we must choose between clinging to what is familiar and trusting God with what comes next. God’s future rarely looks exactly like our past, but it is no less filled with His presence and promise. This week we’ll explore what it means to step forward with courage when God calls us into a new chapter. Scripture: Numbers 27:12–23 and Jo...

Nobody volunteers for the wilderness, yet some of life’s deepest transformations happen there. The places we most want to escape are often the places where God quietly teaches us trust, patience, humility, and dependence. This week we’ll consider the possibility that God is doing more than bringing us through our wilderness—He may be using it to shape us. Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:2–5 **For the bes...

The human heart has a remarkable ability to overlook what is present while obsessing over what is absent. We can stand knee-deep in blessings and still complain that our hands are empty. This week we’ll learn how gratitude opens our eyes to God’s daily provision, even in seasons that feel dry and uncertain. Scripture: Exodus 16:4–21 and Numbers 11:1–3 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experi...

Most of us spend a surprising amount of energy dreading futures that never arrive. Fear has a way of turning possibilities into certainties, and challenges into giants before we’ve taken a single step forward. This week we’ll discover how faith sees the same world as fear but reaches a very different conclusion. Scripture: Numbers 13:25–14:10 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experience, par...

Sometimes the past becomes a place we visit so often that we forget what it was really like to live there. We polish old memories until even our chains begin to shine. This week we’ll explore why God’s people are often tempted to long for what lies behind them just when God is inviting them into something new. Scripture: Numbers 11:4–15 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experience, participa...

What do I have to offer this world? Often, we feel like we are nothing but a worthless pile of junk. However, God declares that you have been beautifully and wonderfully made. God’s Word made us, sustains us, gives us faith, and directs us. A life without God’s Word is like a fish out of water. We live and move and have our being in Christ and we thrive when we are immersed in the Scriptures. Therefore, we draw near to Christ who first drew near to us through His life-giving Word. Scripture: Romans 10:17 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experience, participate in...

Do you ever have a hard time forgiving? Grace is hard. Just when we think we get it, we find our behavior contradicting our beliefs. Maybe we are not even aware of it, but those who know us know. How do we live life in a way that grace defines us? Scripture: Matthew 18:21-35 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experience, participate in this week's sermon at nblc.net/sermons

The continuous 250-year story of our country proves that ideas can endure across centuries if they are intentionally passed down. But as Christians, our eyes are fixed on an even greater legacy—an eternal one. Join us as we wrap up our series by looking at our responsibility to diligently model, share, and pass the torch of the Gospel to the children in our homes and pews today. Scripture: Deutero...

What is the true purpose of liberty? The American founders frequently noted that political freedom cannot survive without moral responsibility. This week, we explore how Christian freedom isn’t a license to do whatever we want, but the absolute liberty to live out our God-given vocations by serving our neighbors in love. Scripture: Galatians 5:1-14 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experienc...

As our nation celebrates its milestone 250th birthday, we kick off our new sermon series, Faith of Our Fathers. This week, we look back at how God’s providential hand guided early leaders to rely on a foundation greater than themselves. Just like the Israelites crossing the Jordan, we are called to set up "memorial stones" of faith so the next generation never forgets what God has done. Scripture:...

What if the greatest threat to our freedom isn't dependence, but the illusion of independence? This Fourth of July weekend, we'll explore the story of the most powerful man on earth who learned that success, prosperity, and power can never replace our need for God. Join us for "Declaration of Dependence Day" and discover the freedom found in humility, gratitude, and trust. Scripture: Daniel 4 **Fo...

The future of faith is not built on programs but on people. Scripture repeatedly calls God's people to cultivate a wholehearted love for God and to pass that faith on through the rhythms of everyday life. Join us as we explore the sacred responsibility and lasting joy of shaping the next generation. Scripture: Matthew 19:13-15 **For the best uninterrupted livestream experience, participate in this...

If a "man after God’s own heart" can fall, where does that leave the rest of us? The story of David and Bathsheba isn't just an ancient scandal; it’s a mirror. This week, we explore how the lure of power can corrupt even the most faithful among us. Join us for a sobering look at how the best of us are capable of the worst of things—and why we are all in desperate need of a Grace that is greater th...

The world looks for resumes, stature, and strength; God looks at the heart. We often think God needs "great" people to do great things, but the story of David proves He prefers the underdog. This week, we look at the transition from the palace to the pasture and ask the tough question: Are we looking for a leader who fits our image, or one who follows God’s heart? Scripture: 1 Samuel 16-17 **For t...

Be careful what you wish for. Sometimes, getting what we want reveals who we really are. When we prioritize our "ends" over God’s "means," we often secure the very failure we were trying to avoid. “But everyone else is doing it!” It’s the oldest excuse in the book, and it’s exactly how Israel ended up with a king they didn’t need. When we look to power and politics to save us, we often get exactly what we asked for—and realize why God’s way was better all along. The harvest of the New Age is already taking root. If you feel burned out by a cynical world, come be reminded that because Christ is risen, no act of kindness is ever wasted and your "doing good" has eternal momentum. Leadership is best expressed with a towel, not a title. We’ll look at the night Jesus washed feet to understand how the King of the Universe empowers us to lead through the grit and grace of practical service. Radical love doesn't check for a passport or a pedigree. Using the Parable of the Good Samaritan, we’ll see how the Resurrection empowers us to cross social boundaries and offer kindness that costs us something. The way up is down. Join us as we explore the "downward mobility" of Jesus and learn how adopting His humble mindset can heal our fractured relationships and communities.

Character is what happens when the cameras are off. Learn why the most powerful acts of Kingdom kindness are the ones only God sees, freeing us from the exhausting hunt for human "likes."

The upside-down revolution begins here. Discover how Jesus redefines greatness by trading a worldly throne for a servant’s heart, inviting us to find our true purpose in the needs of others.

The resurrection isn’t just about life after death. The resurrection of Jesus is also about the beginning of end times fulfillment today.
