Mic On The Vikes!

There are so many good things going on right now in SKOL Nation, but here are the 5 takeaways on my mind as the Vikings get to 3-0!

The Vikings are 2-0 after an impressive 23-17 win over the reigning NFC champions! Here's a quick rundown of my favorite stats from the week!

The Vikes start the season off right with a 28-6 victory over the New York Football Giants! Listen in and celebrate a great win!

Do you ever feel the need to process your thoughts about the Vikings' offensive line? Well, I do, so you're in luck! Give my ramblings a listen! Oh, and I apologize in advance if you can hear my dog barking in the background.

It's not a running back battle, but I do want to see both players used about equally. Listen in to hear why!

The Vikings HAVE to get better in the following categories, both for their success and for my SANITY: #1: TO Margin - 31st in the league, with 2 TOs per game #2: 1Q Scoring - 28th in the league, 2.4 pts/per first quarter #3: Rushing offense - 29th in the league, 91.4 yds/game #4: Opp. field position - 28th in the league, avg. 30.1-yard line

Jefferson will be in purple and gold for the foreseeable future, and I am ecstatic! Whether you want to celebrate or need some convincing as to why it was a good deal, listen here!

Hey all, Mic on the Vikes here to discuss the games I have circled on this season's schedule! It's a tough schedule overall, but should be fun with Kirk's return to Minny and a chance to destroy Rodgers in London! Find me on X, @Jlime8 if you want to continue the discussion, or watch me on YouTube ! You can also check in on Facebook and miconthevikes.com .

Here's my two cents on the Vikes' fourth-round pick!

3 things I liked and 3 things I didn't about the Vikings' Offseason, excluding the draft. What do you think? Let me know!

Mic on the Vikes is back! Just a quick reflection on the Vikings' 2024 Draft! Hit me up on X @Jlime8 if you want to follow up on the discussion!

I can't help but rant about that terrible loss from Saturday! And yet, it's now time to focus on the playoff push, SKOL!

The Vikings lose another game to turnovers and a poor offensive outing across the board. Good time for a bye week I guess...

It ended closer than we would've liked, but this purple squad keeps rolling!

Vikes win again! What a team effort and debut performance by Joshua Dobbs!

The depression about Kirk is real, but it's still SKOL to the Bowl!

Nobody is allowed to panic yet, the Vikes are 1 - 0 in the division!

Yes, we are 0-3, but I still have hope! Here's a quick recap of why we lost, and a couple of positives to make you feel better!

Alright, the first 53-man Vikings squad is here! A lot of it was expected, but there were definitely some surprises - here's looking at you, DeWayne McBride!

I said I wasn't going to use this as a title, but I did kind of bash the preseason in this episode. I also talk about my overreactions to the first two Vikings' games, and express my fears about the Vikings' offensive line depth!

Josh highlights a couple of defensive players he's excited about for the 2023 season as training camp begins!

Hey all, Josh here to take a quick look at the Vikings' running game heading into 2023; are we in good shape in the post-Dalvin Cook era? Then, I play a game, by myself, looking at the narratives surrounding the starting quarterbacks of the NFL, thanks for tuning in!

Thanks for listening to another mic on the Vikes! My name is Josh, and I am a lifelong Vikings fan. I am here (selfishly) to rant and react to all things Vikings, while also hoping to create a community of people willing to ponder the purple!
