FIRE WITCH 25.06.2024

We have a few bright little clumps of flowers that are called fire witches. I can imagine the fairies dancing around the blossoms on a starry night. I am grateful for all the color in the gardens that help me appreciate all the color in life. Support the show

PINK CLOVER 24.06.2024

The hills are alive with pollinator plants like pink and white clover providing nourishment for insects, birds, and animals that, in return, cross pollinate other plants and trees, creating a vibrant landscape that brings great pleasure to all that take the time to pause for a moment and be grateful. CELEBRATING ANOTHER YEAR 23.06.2024

Today is Penny and my 62nd wedding anniversary. We practice retrogression, getting younger each year. This year she wrote and published “A Timeline of Madison NH” for the historical society; I played a lot of music and will soon record podcast #6100. What is retirement? Support the show

THE WILD LAWN, PART II 22.06.2024

Now that the forget-me-nots have finished flowering, the second phase of the wild lawn has taken over with harebells and foxgloves in full bloom. These wildflowers choose where they want to be, like a lot of late blooming people. We appreciate them. Support the show

SUMMERTIME 21.06.2024

This is the first full day of summer according to the calendar, but in my mind, it has been summer since the first of June. It is time to let the dreams and plans of the winter materialize into a positive reality as one rejuvenates the soul for the seasons ahead. Support the show

WHITE HAREBELLS 20.06.2024

The white harebells are now in full bloom. I love the fact that they, like other wildflowers, choose their own locations, although they can also be transplanted. Many people also choose where they want to bloom. Support the show

LEARNING MY WAY 19.06.2024

With all the new plants going into the gardens at the Center, I sometimes don’t get the label right, as was the case with cat mint that I mislabeled as lavender. There is always something new to learn in life as I continue my quest for knowledge. Support the show

CHANNELING LOVE II 18.06.2024

I keep coming back to the subject of love, often inspired by hearts that appear in unexpected places, like the middle of the driveway. My intention is to be a channel for the love that comes from the core of all creation, and I am grateful for that opportunity. Support the show

MAKING THEIR ANNUAL APPEARANCE 17.06.2024

There is a group of wild asters that flower around an apple tree in the orchard. I look forward to their annual appearance as I do for many different events in my life that occur year after year that help spread positivity and love. I am grateful for the asters. Support the show

CELEBRATING FATHERS' DAY ALL YEAR LONG 16.06.2024

I am very fortunate. I celebrate Fathers’ Day, as well as grandfathers’ day, and my wife, as well as my past life children from my soul family, all year long. I realize this is not the same for every father, and my intention is to apply the love I feel each day to others. Support the show

AN INTELLIGENT FLOWER 15.06.2024

I believe the foxglove is a very intelligent flower. It chooses where it wants to raise its litter on our land, maybe in a remote corner of the parking lot.  I think of intelligent people who quietly go about spreading their seeds of positivity in the fertile minds of people. Support the show

A CLUMP OF BENEFITS 14.06.2024

The lavender plants are in full bloom. They are a favorite for many people with their fragrant smell and many uses. People are clumps of talents that can benefit others when they take the time to share. Support the show

THERE IS A LOT TO LOVE IN A DAISY 13.06.2024

The daisies are in bloom, and this old-fashioned flower was used in a game of love, love me not, when removing the petals. The last petal held the answer. When offering love, it is the other person who pulls the petals to decide. Support the show

A GAME OF HEARTS 12.06.2024

I remember when I was much younger, I used to play a card game called Hearts. Today I am on a quest to discover heart symbols that I connect with gratitude to my heart as a reminder of love that I set my intentions to channel from the infinite wisdom of the Cosmos. Support the show

STANDING TALL 11.06.2024

There is a wildflower with a tall leafless stalk that seems to just appear on unmowed lawns and fields in June. The flower books identify it as “yellow hawkweed”. From a distance it looks like buttercups. There are people who stand tall for positivity and often appear when it is needed. Support the show

AT ITS PRIME 10.06.2024

The first year the lupine bloomed I counted 12 plants. Now at their prime, there are several hundred blooms as they continue to spread each year. Positive actions, when one’s intentions are at their best, can spread among others just like the lupine. Support the show

BEAUTY IS NOT ONLY IN THE BLOOM 09.06.2024

A variegated hosta has more beauty in its leaves than in its flowers. In fact, the leaves look like a giant flower by themselves. We often see surface beauty in a person but can miss their inner beauty unless we look for it. Support the show

EARLY YELLOW DAYLILES 08.06.2024

The first daylilies of the season are now shining in the sun. They signal a parade of colors that will last the whole summer, each bloom a reason to be grateful. That gratitude can then be shared with friends and strangers. Support the show

BLESSING THE MOUNTAIN 07.06.2024

Recently we had two Sri Lankan monks visit the Center spreading peace and love throughout the country. I took them to see the Lupines, and they did an impromptu blessing of the Mountain. That blessing is now shared with all who visit. Support the show

WILD COLUMBINE 06.06.2024

My eyes caught a small splash of red, and upon investigating more closely I saw a wild columbine in bloom, the first of the season.  I paused for a moment, taking in this small flower that could easily be overlooked, and thought of the many such pleasures that can change one’s life. THE FLAGS ARE FLYING 05.06.2024

Yellow flags are now flowering in the little frog pond while the blue flags are blooming close by. Summer weather is upon us, and it is a great time to pause for a moment and be grateful for Nature’s gifts to us. That moment can make a big difference in our day as well as those that cross our paths. Support the show

GRAMPA DAVIS'S BENCH 04.06.2024

Years ago my wife’s father made her mother a three-legged bench to hold some of her potted plants. It eventually was handed through the family until I squared it off and my son added a fourth leg. Now it is ready for the future. It is good to update our lives with old positive values.   Support the show

THE ART OF INTERPRETING NATURE 03.06.2024

For nearly two hundred years, artists have been coming to the mountains to interpret Nature and take their renderings back TO show others. Each artist creates a little differently. In life there is an art to blending other interpretations with their own. Support the show

When Old Fashioned Is In Again 02.06.2024

Our bridal wreath is in bloom. I transplanted it over fifty years ago from my parents’ home where it had originally been brought from my great aunt’s. “Thrifting” is popular now. Support the show

VARIETIES OF LIFE 01.06.2024

Several years ago my sister gave me some pink lilies-of-the-valley that have the same fragrant flowers as the white variety. Nature provides so many different varieties for us to observe and enjoy, just as all aspects of life do when we choose to examine different views. Support the show
