COLORING UP THE LANDSCAPE 25.09.2026 1:36
Nature has its paintbrush out and is beginning to color up the landscape. It won’t be long before this vibrant artwork will be at its peak and draw thousands to the mountains to view the show. People always can color the landscape of others with kind words and positive acts of kindness no matter what the season of life. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
A LITTLE MORE ON INTENTIONS 24.09.2026 1:40
A very important component in an intention is believing in a positive purpose for setting it in the first place. Essentially that has been our positive intention ever since the Mountain decided we would be its steward. The same is true for any intention we set in life, believing that if it comes from the heart, our Source is with us to help it become a reality. www.michaelhathaway.com Support th...
PROGRESS BEGINS WITH INTENTION 23.09.2026 2:03
I wanted to clear new growth away from a storage shed before it totally blocked the access, so I spent a couple of hours on two afternoons to slowly clear away the growth. The beginning of a success begins with setting intentions and then giving yourself permission to follow through. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
IT'S OVER 22.09.2026 1:33
The fall equinox arrives today, so summer is officially over. There have been hints of change for those who pay attention. We also get hints of changes about to take place in our lives, so knowing that helps us prepare. Some people do not want to change and get caught unprepared. Embracing change can also provide many new opportunities. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
THOUGHTS ON SWEETNESS 21.09.2026 1:31
The pink clover blossoms still in bloom reminded me of the sweetness I experience in life, like the maple syrup I drizzle on my gluten free French toast in the morning. There is a lot of non-edible sweetness in life like a warm friendly smile from someone at a time when it brightens their day. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
MORE DISCOVERIES ON A NICE SEPTEMBER DAY 20.09.2026 1:03
Recently I discovered a small group of mushrooms in the grass that made me smile. I just marvel at how unique Nature is and how unique each person is. Discoveries often come when we are alert to our surroundings. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
FLOWERS ARE STILL IN NATURE'S GARDEN 19.09.2026 1:29
I am grateful for flowers to appreciate on my mid-September walks through nature’s natural garden. It is pure joy to discover the surrounding beauty, including people who share their individuality with others, knowing not everyone will understand. Those that do receive the benefits of a different view of life!!!!!!!! www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
ANOTHER FALL-WINTER JOY 18.09.2026 1:21
The winterberries growing close to our stone walls are loaded with red berries that will last into winter. I look forward to enjoying them every year. I also find great joy in many things, including, people and places in Nature. My intention is to find them as I travel the path of my Soul. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
A BOUNTIFUL CROP 17.09.2026 1:39
Our little 30+ year-old crabapple tree has a bountiful crop of tiny red apples this year. They are too small for human consumption, but the birds enjoy them. I think of how a bountiful crop of human kindness can feed human hearts with love all over the world. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
IT STILL TAKES MY BREATH AWAY 16.09.2026 1:35
Several years ago, we returned from a week’s vacation and our first visit up to the cabin literally took our breath away when we saw the view that loggers had revealed in their recent cut. It still takes my breath away every time I see the view. Special places and people can help us feel gratitude that we can share with others. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
THE IMPORTANCE OF GRATITUDE 15.09.2026 1:52
On the day of my 6900th podcast I choose to connect with the Importance of Gratitude. I set my intentions every day to feel gratitude for being allowed to channel the Cosmos’s nonjudgmental love and share it with others to help them discover their own heart connections. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
LITTLE BY LITTLE 14.09.2026 1:45
This summer we have had several interruptions in accomplishing our goals, but we managed to start improving a trail by using some no value books that would have gone to the dump as fill for low spots in an old skidder road with the intention of creating a new trail. Spending an hour or so each week, little by little, our goal is coming together. It is amazing what can be accomplished little by lit...
LEAN ON ME 13.09.2026 2:23
Recently I cut down a tall slender birch tree that was leaning over the old road and causing a potential winter hazard when heavy snow arrives. After I cleaned up the branches, I looked back and another tree had taken its place. It had been leaning on the first one. In life, we can lean on our Source to help us remain upright on our soul’s path. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
THE RESULTS ARE IN 12.09.2026 1:58
The results are now in my stomach after dreaming of an apple pie from our old orchard. There was just enough for one pie, and I am so grateful to Nature (and gluten-free piecrust) for helping make my dream come true. Setting positive intentions with heart-felt gratitude and trust in your Source can go a long way to helping your dreams come true. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
A NEW DISCOVERY 11.09.2026 1:46
I was opening the gate to the Cabin driveway when I discovered a tiny flower hiding in the tall grass under my feet. According to a flower identifier, it is called a purple false foxglove. I am reminded that there are new discoveries to be made when we pay attention to what is taking place around us, and I thank the little flower for this lesson in life. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
BELTLESS 10.09.2026 3:01
After three hours of trying to find the trail, the Bob Cat, our Utility Vehicle, stopped running two hundred feet from our destination. I contacted a friend that lives nearby and he and another very mechanical friend pulled the Cat out of the woods and found the drive belt broken and shredded. The mechanical friend had dreamed about the Mountain years ago and its mystery which is still taking plac...
TAKING A WRONG TURN 09.09.2026 2:05
This is a two part-podcast story. Recently we were doing some work on a new trail to the top of the Mountain following a skidder road created a few years ago. We decided to pull a drag with a side by side up the trail to connect to Robbins Way. We were stopped by a deep ditch, and instead of turning back, we decided to try to navigate an old cutting. Three hours later we were stuck. Then-----. www...
FRAMING THE PICTURE 08.09.2026 1:39
A picture frame makes a big difference in how a viewer receives it. Often the framing begins with how the artist creates it. In life, we all create images of what we want others to perceive what we do. Some people are very good at creating illusions, so it is easy to miss what is really taking place in the whole picture. It is wise to see the whole and the small details in life. www.michaelhathawa...
CELEBRATIONS AND MEMORIALS 07.09.2026 1:26
Some people visit the mountain to celebrate an event in their lives or to remember someone or something that has meaning for them. The little fairy space under the big pine tree at the top of the Lupine Field has become a place where people leave reminders of something special. Our minds are a great place to create positive memorials and celebrations. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
HOPING THERE IS ENOUGH FOR A PIE 06.09.2026 1:52
Now that September has arrived, it is time to turn our attention to the old apple orchard near the cabin. We are hoping there are enough good apples, not wormy, to make an apple pie. In life we sometimes hope for something to manifest and when it is time we do not take the action needed for it to become reality. My goal this week is to enjoy an apple pie. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
RIDING THE WIND 05.09.2026 1:40
When a milkweed pod has opened, the silky fibers ride the winds that blow across the valley to find fertile ground to create next year’s new growth. When people offer an act of kindness to others, their positive intentions set sail with an energy that may touch lives of people they may never know. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
READY TO BURST 04.09.2026 1:14
The milkweed pods are ready to burst and let their silky seeds float in the wind in search of fertile ground for a new crop next year. People can have positive ideas they want to share but find them stymied by others that have no interest in them. The ideas never find fertile ground for growth, and the person gives up before they look for a positive outcome another way. www.michaelhathaway.com ; T...
SEPTEMBER'S RITUAL HAS BEGUN 03.09.2026 2:03
The leaves here show the first signs of fall foliage. Within a few weeks people will be flocking to the mountains from all over the world to experience this colorful show. People have different rituals all year long. One positive ritual is the daily practice of heart-based gratitude. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
A PLACE WHERE LIFE SLOWS DOWN 02.09.2026 1:40
There is nothing like spending a little time sitting on the bench at the top of the Lupine Field gazing at the mountains and drifting away into the vast cosmos above, where one can connect with the essence of the soul, slowing down Life for a few precious moments. Everyone can have such a place, even if it is just in their mind. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
A CASCADE OF PEARS 01.09.2026 1:22
The old tree is laden with small pickling pears cascading down its limbs which look like they might break at any time. Sometimes in life we are caught in a cascade of events, either negative or positive, to the point where we feel overwhelmed. Trust in your invisible team to provide strength to carry you through them. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
