Photographer and local music supporter Rich Tarbell joins the show to share about the Jim Waive Tribute Show happening Sunday September 7th. Jim Waive was a well loved local artist playing with his band the Young Divorcees and a regular at the Blue Moon Diner.

Samantha spoke to Harrisonburg’s  Dogwood Tales in the studio. The band crafts a soulful blend of alt-country and indie-folk, drawing inspiration from the Shenandoah Valley’s landscapes. Dogwood Tales are headlining the Ting Pavilion for Fridays After Five on June 6th!

Kat Somers & Sally Rose join Samantha in the studio to talk about their upcoming event, the Songbird Showcase: Femmes & Thems, this Saturday afternoon at Rapunzel’s Coffee and Books. They also perform a song each.
