Line Drunk

This movie is crazy, it's wild, it's a trip for sure, but it's so much fun. This movie takes you on an adventure like no other. So make sure you have a drink in hand and pick two or three rules from the drinking game and enjoy the show. I am so glad I was able to interview Scott and get a few things answered. Stranded after a disastrous gig, an all-girl heavy metal band (The Virginia B...

I am so glad to cover this film, especially with all the talk about a long awaited sequel. Hopefully the sequel will not disappoint. Sadly this film isn't streaming anywhere, but it is available for rent or to buy on several platforms. You could also probably get a copy on Amazon or eBay if you wanted an actual disc to watch over and over. With her marriage breaking up, Beverly Hills housewife Phy...

I went to visit Dusty for several days and before we watched a movie, I was sitting at his bar while he was behind it getting ready to try some rum from Hawaii. So I decided to just hit record and have some fun. We discussed the rum, did some movie trivia and other random things that I now don't remember. Enjoy this fun and different episode. Piña Colada: Ingredients 1 1/2 cups whole Pineapple Chu...

Morris Mud Himmel (Jonathan Jackson) spends every summer at computer camp, but he hates it. Mud and his friends (Andrew Keegan, Melody Kay, Marnette Patterson), unhappy about their respective camp prospects, devise a pl...

Its been 16 years since the show premiered and what better day to release an episode discussing the pilot episode than on the anniversary of Alison's disappearance. My cousin introduced me to this show and it immediately grabbed my attention. It is 100% a teenage girl show, but it has murder, suspense, clues, lies, sex, and so much more. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't ye...

I was able to screen Sunspark during Fantasia Film Festival, it is such a cute animated short that I can’t wait for it to be released and others be able to see it. Maybe you will get lucky and see it at a film festival, so be on the lookout. While scavenging for spare parts, a lonely robot discovers someone who desperately needs his help. The Rusty Nail (liquor.com): Ingredients 1 1/2 ounces scotc...

This was such a great film, so glad I was able to screen it for Fantasia Film Festival. When it is released, please check it out. It was a pleasure discussing the film with Harrison and Dakota. But as he sacrifices everything to save him, he must decide how much he'll lose f...

THE BEST PIZZA IS IN LA explores filmmaker Pete Ferriero’s journey to prove that the world's best pizza isn't found in New York, Chicago, or Italy, but right in Los Angeles. Alongside interviews of celebrity chefs (Nancy Silverton, Brooke Williamson, Joe Sasto, Stephanie Izard, Joe D'Amore and more) and special guests (Tori Spelling, Ray Romano, Brian Austin Green), Ferriero dives into...

This is a film that I probably watch once a year. It is such a classic thriller, which I feel like there aren't as many great thrillers like there in the 90s.  High-altitude thriller in which the presidential aircraft, Air Force One, is hijacked by Russian communist radicals demanding the release of the Kazakhstani leader. With the First Lady and her family trapped on board, the hijackers thre...

"What are you waiting for? Huh. What are you waiting for?"  This movie is great! If you haven't watched it, go watch it! You will hear that line and so many other great lines written by Kevin Williamson. The synopsis of the film: A year after running over a fisherman and dumping his body in the water, four friends reconvene when Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) receives a frightening let...

You need to stop what you are doing and go watch Stumble on Peacock if you haven't seen it! If you have seen it, go rewatch it! I am hoping that NBC will change their minds, or that someone else will pick up this show. This show is fantastic and needs to be around for more seasons. If you don't have any knowledge of this show, it says Jenn Lyon and Taran Killam and the synopsis is... After being f...

If you haven't watched this movie, STOP right now and go watch it. DO NOT LOOK UP THE SYNOPSIS, just hit play. It is so much better when you don't know what the film is about. I watched it in theatres only knowing it had good reviews and was a shark movie, that's all you need to know. There will be spoilers in this episode, so you want to watch the film first. Shark Attack Cocktail (fo...

If you haven't watched it yet, it is available to stream on Disney+, so go check it out. It's a fun movie for the whole family with cameos from John Stamos, Will Arnett, Taraji P. Henson and more. Maybe it will give you some costume ideas. Hopefully there will be more Muppets movies in the future.  Apple Cider Champagne Cocktail (wellplated.com): Ingredients 4 oz Apple Cider 8 oz chilled C...

I remember watching Bzzz! on tv and I was probably was probably way too young to be watching it, but it was also a fun show. I miss the dating shows of the 90s and early 00s, Singled Out and Blind Date to name a few. I wonder how these shows would do now, especially when the dating shows now are all about the drama and gaining popularity to become an influencer and not really about finding love. ...

Well this was an interesting event, find out why in the beginning of this episode. It was not what we were expecting. The great thing about this episode is that we were able to cover a film that starred both Val Kilmer and Michael Madsen, who both passed away this year. This film is available to watch on Tubi. After Faye (Joanne Whalley) and her psychotic boyfriend, Vince (Michael Madsen), success...

Welcome to the season 9 finale!!!!! I was sent a screener for a new film making the festival rounds called The Militia , it is written and directed by Dylan King Welter and then I was able to interview him. I really did enjoy this film, just wasn’t sure how to go about the interview on this topic. When it is released, I highly recommend checking out the film, but until then, enjoy this great inter...

I guarantee you that she has casted some of your favorite actors on some of your favorite shows. Sherry has been doing this for a long time and her resume is extensive. I had Sherry on last year at the festival and hope she will be back, maybe we can do a regular podcast episode. She has casted everything from The Righteous Gemstones to The Four Seasons to Breaking Bad to Lie To Me.  Sherry, if yo...
