All diseases are genetic.  Is that true?  Does that mean I will get the disease?

When a loved one is sleeping most of the day, should we be concerned?

Is there ever a time it is OK to withhold liquids from someone with dementia?  

Does Benadryl lead to dementia?  Is there a connection?

The brain is a problem solving machine.  It works differently in males and than females.

If you approach someone from behind, you run the risk of startling them.  That's not a good idea.  It is an especially BAD idea if that individual has dementia.

She was not accurately diagnosed.  The doctor assumed she had Alzheimer's.  She did NOT!

Sundowning occurs when the sun starts to go down.  An OTT Light can help reduce the symptoms. 

Many folks are lonely.  Loneliness make dementia worse.  

Do you get enough folate in your diet?  Did you know it helps prevent Alzheimer's?

Do you have habits that are bad for your brain?

We use the word "need" so cavalierly.  Maybe we NEED to stop and think about what is really important.
