55 yr old Tamara was once 400lbs, and people didn't want her in their car or sitting on their furniture because of her size. But she never let that keep her from believing in herself and using that situation to empower girls and women.

God has a reason for all the pain we experience. His comfort of us is so we can be a comforter to someone else.

Learning to be vulnerable as a man is necessary to have authentic relationships. Learning to forgive is key to having an authentic relationship with Christ. Learning how to control your natural naughty nature is key. And Learning to listen deeply is important in leading.

Tamra Washington, DHS Investigator discusses the system, working with families in crisis, self-awareness, her battle with weight and self-esteem and walking in her power.

It's what you do when the bottom falls out that really determines who you are and your relationship with Christ.

You cannot lead people longer than they are willing to follow. You cannot lead people further than they are willing to grow/go. You cannot lead people faster than they're willing to CHANGE.

You will have stress, anxiety on a higher more intense level, when you're believing God for more. It's hard to trust God for what you personally have never seen or experienced before. But that's the pushing through and how our faith is increased. When we are weak, He is strong.

God brings certain people in certain seasons of your life to get you to His purpose for your life.

If you want to get to a place of peace in your life, you must understand how God blocks people from seeing you. God will only allow certain people to embrace what you do. WHY? Because they will distract you.

I hadn't spoken to my sister in 2 yrs, but was preaching, "LOVE WINS." God checked me.

It was a suicide state of living.

We must accept the fact that race matters in education. That white and black educators who are not will to be uncomfortable ,are hurting our children.

Connecting with mentors can give you confidence.

Men, it's time for us to come out of emotional Incarceration so our families can heal, and so our communities can be restored. #makingofmen #justchew
