In Zs Opinion …

Just because summer is ending doesn’t mean the funs ending. Remember that when one season ends a new one begins. You can still have fun, you can still accomplish goals. Extend summer into your lifestyle so that you always are having something to look forward to!

We all want to be happy right? Well it’s a lifelong pursuit, and there are steps. As we work toward happiness remember that is first had to come from within in order to transcend! And happy times may not be present all the time but they come around often.

More than ever Black People need to love on each other. Sonya Massey, Kamala Harris; Black women need love. May we all love on each other. May we show up to the polls! Lets just love on us and show how love traverses! The black experience is love!

People often misinterpret us. Maybe it’s because we misinterpret ourselves. Showing up transparent and vulnerable is easier said than done but it’s necessary. Growing requires honesty in who you’ve been so it can help with who you’re trying to be!

Sometimes an apology fixes everything, and maybe it fixes nothing. But still it’s necessary. So many times apologies are skipped over because of pride, but what if they weren’t? Healing is on the other side of receiving that apology. Growth is on the other side of giving that apology.

The age old saying… Parents just don’t understand. Or do they? Is it us the children that really don’t understand? As we grow up we start to learn our parents outside of being just OUR parents. Does that mean we’re raising them or does it just mean we’re learning who they are and teaching them who we are?

In connection to “I don’t need therapy…OKAY!” and Men’s Mental Health month we’re talking about the unspeakable…. CRYING! As people we have forgotten that crying is okay. It’s actually necessary. And we need to start creating space for ourselves individually and collectively to cry more. Release the trauma, and face the drama. Just cry a little, you’ll feel better!

Black people this is for you! Know that nobody is like us and we deserve to rest in knowing that! But also remember as we transition through life most people are not like us and we learn to either deal or not deal. They may not be like us but we able to still build and better for and because of each other!

Closing out the season, and reflecting on the real opinions behind “In Zs opinion”

A year of change, of lessons, wins, and losses… IM STEEL HERE!

Mastering delusion is an art to many of the human race have mastered. It’s your turn. Stop being so tuned in to everything and everybody and tune tf out. You’ll save yourself in the end.

If you know you know. It’s the dawn of a NEW DAY!

A toast to NEW BEGINNINGS! But even with new starts we still can mourn, or feel for what we are leaving behind. New starts, New Beginnings are good but so is what we knew before. Toast to it all!

As people we often give too many F***s about things that just are not ours to give to. Time to stop that. Put all that your giving to those others people stuff and start giving attention to your stuff. Those that understand will understand. And those that don’t it’s time to make them adjust to you or out of you!

April has always been known to be the month that drenches the soil so that new life may bud from the grounds. In your end to April and start to May I hope you praise your showers just as much as your upcoming flowers. Whether good, bad, or indifferent without the showers the real flowers cant grow. May your new flowers be a testament of all you endured through your showers.

Navigating relationships aint easy. Especially as we grow into ourselves. As you navigate these relationships remember not to do more damage by overwatering. Yes relationships Need to be watered just like plants. But don't overwater and not have much to show for it.

And on the third day..... THE THIRD DAY! Jesus rose again! And so will you. We go through our own deaths throughout life and though sometimes we dont know the how, or when we ourselves rise again. Remember that just like Jesus, or a phoenix you have the opportunity to rise again after any and all things.

Sometimes its easier to give advice than to do what we are telling others. Sometimes its easier to say our goals than actually be able to make them. SOmetimes thing are just EASIER to say than to actually DO!

Sometimes we feel like were barely making it, and sometimes that's exactly what it is JUST making it. We all deserve that time and space of making it and giving the best that we have to give which Is not always much. Just know you will make it. What's for you is for you. And only a little productivity is still productivity

Time is relative, its a concept... BUT its still time. One of the biggest teachers we have in this life, one of our hardest lessons, and the Co-Author in each of our stories. Time will change you its the natural order, but you cant change time. So yield to it; be a student, and allow it to make you a teacher.

A check in for everybody! You Okay? How's your mental? For those struggling with seasonal depression, the retrograde, adulting, all the above this is for you. Keep on pushing, keep fighting.  With so much going on its easy to get caught in pandemonium. Work to stay sane. Stay you. 

Wouldn't you rather have loyalty over love? I'm sure most have never thought about it or that what could come without the other; but they can. We all have gotten locked in with people to the point where something might not be good for you anymore but your loyalty has kept  you tethered. But sometimes you have to choose you. If the love is gone then the loyalty may really be what gets you kill...
