GET IN THE HOUSE A Bonus Teaching from Day 1 of A Christian Experience: Celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles What does Rahab's house have to do with dwelling with God? During Day 1 of my Feast of Tabernacles experience, an unexpected teaching emerged from the account of Rahab in Joshua 2. The message was simple: GET IN THE HOUSE. Before Jericho fell, Rahab received very specific instructions. The...

A Christian Experience: Celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles — Day 1 What does celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles look like for a Christian today? On September 26, 2026, I began Day 1 of the Feast of Tabernacles with that question—not attempting to recreate ancient Israel's observance, but approaching the appointed time as a Christian who desires to understand what God established, what He instr...

The Danger of Being Uprooted In today's devotional reflection, we explore a powerful word found in Scripture: uprooted. At first glance, uprooting may seem similar to pruning, but there is an important difference. Pruning removes what is no longer needed so healthy growth can continue. Uprooting removes the entire root system. One preserves life. The other removes the source of stability altogethe...

What if one of the most powerful words in Scripture is a word we often overlook? In Leviticus 26:10, God gives Israel a promise that appears to be about harvest and provision:"You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new." At first glance, the verse seems to focus on food storage, abundance, and God's faithfulness to provide. Yet hidden within the verse is a small word t...

What does it mean for God to make someone's name great? Many people assume greatness is something a person declares about themselves. Yet when we follow the story of Abraham, we discover something different. The testimony of Abraham's blessing did not come from Abraham's own mouth. It came from someone who had walked closely enough to witness God's faithfulness firsthand. In Genesis 24, Abraham's...

In this episode, we take a closer look at one of the most beautiful promises found in Leviticus 26:9:  "For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you." (NKJV)  At first glance, fruitfulness can seem like a simple concept. Many people immediately think of children, growth, or increase. Yet as we begin following the thread of Scripture, a much...

Not every difficult season means something is being lost forever. There are moments in life when change feels unsettling. Leaves begin to fall. Familiar things shift. Doors close. Plans change. Sometimes we look at what is falling and quietly wonder if everything is coming apart. But what if every fall is not uprooting? In this reflective devotional journey, we gently explore the difference betwee...

What if the holy anointing oil and incense of Exodus 30 reveal more than sacred fragrance? What if they reveal something about discernment? In this devotional reflection, we slow down and look beyond the ingredients and measurements to the one entrusted with preparing them—the perfumer. Exodus tells us that the holy oil and incense were compounded according to “the art of the perfumer.” That phras...

What does it mean to be rooted enough to remain? In this warm and reflective devotional, we slow down and consider the quiet work that often takes place beneath the surface of our lives. Drawing from Colossians 2:6–7, Ephesians 3:17, and Leviticus 26:9, this episode explores the beauty of becoming rooted, grounded, and established in Christ. So often we celebrate visible growth, answered prayers,...

In this devotional reflection, we explore the connection between receiving Christ and continuing to walk with Him. Drawing from Colossians 2:6, we consider the simple yet powerful invitation found in Scripture: “As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.” Receiving from God is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning. Just as we receive bread for nourishment and then carry i...

What if transition is not delay… but preparation? In this devotional reflection, The Place of Transition, we explore the imagery of the bronze laver found in Exodus 30 and the sacred space it occupied between the altar and the tabernacle. The laver was not the destination, yet it was not without purpose. It was a place of washing, preparation, and movement—a reminder that God often works deeply wi...

What does it truly mean to keep His word? In this gentle devotional reflection, we slow down and sit with a word that is often misunderstood—keep. Is it merely obedience, or could it also speak of love, nearness, and relationship? Drawing from John 14:23, Colossians 2:6–7, and Ephesians 3:17, this episode explores the quiet beauty of holding God's word close, allowing Christ to dwell within us, an...

Step into a gentle moment of scripture, reflection, and encouragement as we explore what it means to be planted, rooted, and established by God. Beginning in Leviticus 26:9 and journeying through scriptures that reveal God’s heart toward His people, this devotional reflection reminds us that not every cutting season is uprooting and that the Father plants with purpose. Together we consider the qui...

Jesus teaches that the person who hears His words and puts them into practice is like a wise man who builds his house upon a rock. When the rain falls, the floo...

While reading these verses, I found myself reflecting on a study from the previous Sabbath in Leviticus 24. I had no intention to study that day. I simply reflected as the Holy Spirit brought some...

In this Snack Time Devotional, we pause to reflect on Psalm 91 and the powerful promise found in the “secret place of the Most High.” Psalm 91 reminds us that those who dwell in the presence of God will find refuge, protection, and peace under the shadow of the Almighty. But what does it truly mean to dwell in the secret place of God? We read the verses. We've memorized them and can quote them. Bu...

Snack Time Devotional | Short Scripture Reflections for Daily Encouragement In this Snack Time Devotional, we reflect on Exodus 25:8 and the beautiful truth that God desires to dwell among His people. The Tabernacl...
