Our knowledge of God's presence in our lives should change the way we view our circumstances. As Paul concludes 2 Thessalonians, he writes a blessing that unveils a rich truth that comforts our hearts in affliction and brings peace in all circumstances. 

It is easy to grow weary in doing good. Paul knows this truth firsthand. However, in this portion of his letter to the Thessalonian church, he reminds them to lean into Christ.

If you knew you were in your last days or hours of life, what would take priority in your life? In this passage, we look at what governed Paul's life and how he offers a model for the believers in Thessalonica.

If a great deceiver is coming, how are the Thessalonians to know whether or not they have been deceived? As Paul corrects the false teaching among the Thessalonians, he paints a picture of two types of people: those who will be deceived and those who will stand firm.  It is in this exhortation that Paul reminds the Thessalonians church of who they are and what they have in Christ. 

Who is the man of lawlessness? If the revealing of this person occurs before Christ gathers the church to himself, this question seems important. However, perhaps the characteristics of this being as a part of Paul's answer to the Thessalonian trouble were meant to provide them with something more than a specific name.
