In part two of our series we talk about a neglected characteristic of Christ and Christians: GENTLENESS. Though it's not always celebrated, it is necessary. As Jesus said, "The meek will inherit the earth."

We launch into a new series on the Fruit of the Spirit. We all know that we need power, authority, strength, courage, wisdom to lead as Christians... But how many Christians are championing leaders for meekness, gentleness, patience, peace? This simple, practical series will cover each fruit individually, and in week 1 we discuss a big one: LOVE.

John chapter 9 is one of the few times that the Gospel spends an entire chapter (41 verses) on one story. Clearly, this story is of significance. We take the time to look at this story from three perspectives: The disciples. The Pharisees. The man born blind. We see what Jesus is seeking to show these people (and us) through each encounter.

The feeding of the 5,000. We know the story. All 4 Gospels tell it. But what is JESUS trying to say through this miracle? Jesus doesn't just want these people to see what He can do; He wants them to understand Who He is. We unpack that in this episode.

In part 2 of this series, we look at John 5, where Jesus sees a man who had desperately waited for healing for 38 years. We study some history and context of the Pool of Bethesda, and we consider the practical implications of what's actually going on in this story.

5.15.2024 Weekly Recap This week we discussed a challenging topic: Anger. What does Jesus teach about anger? Are what He says (Matthew 5) and what He does (Matthew 21) different? How do we reconcile the teaching of Jesus, and how do we live in light of them today?

While Paul specifically addresses sexual immorality that is going on within the church, he also gives some extremely important instructions for them on DEALING with sin - both inside and outside of the church. 10.18.23 Weekly Recap. We start a new series through the book of I Corinthians looking at how we can be eternally minded in a broken and fallen world. The concept is simple, really, but the practice is far from easy. Unity changes everything. We look at what it takes to have spiritual unity in the broken place we find ourselves.
