What a missed opportunity it is to live a life that never aligns with the divine purpose of God.  Often times the Lord gives us the end at the beginning of our lives without ever telling us how He is going to get us there.  Take the time to reject your own will so that you can become His. God purposely gives us the end without giving us the plan.  The honest truth is that if the Lord showed us the process that it takes to get to the end that most of us would abandon the destination.  Remember Joseph was even shown the throne and even feeding his brothers from the throne.  However, God never showed Joseph that in order to sit on the throne and feed his brothers that it would require...

This is the year that Jesus has really began to expose anyone and anything that is not like Him.  His coming is beyond closer than when we first believed.  Darkness should never stand a chance in the presence of God's people.  The days of moving in ungodly secrecy without anyone knowing are over regardless of title, status or position!  Jesus said, "For there is nothing hidden that will n...

Out with the old and in with the new!  Except the new is not what's new in your eyes but in the eyes of the Almighty.  Year after year for so many becomes a chaotic circle of counterproductive disciplines that do us more harm than good.  Let 2024 be a year ordained by the Lord with great expectation and faith in His ability and not our own.   Be sure to share this podcast and visit Emmanuel Ch...

The story of the woman with the issue of blood is a known throughout Christianity.  Seemingly we tend to focus only on her healing with little regard to the issues she faced well beyond her hemorrhaging.  God only knows how many times she had to fight off the voice of the enemy to get into the presence of Jesus Christ.  The only way we become victorious in fighting a word the enemy speaks against...

Every Christian around the world loves to speak on the armor of God.  Notice that Paul never mentions the armor of God until the very last chapter of Ephesians.  This is because he spends five chapters of training and development before the armor is even mentioned.  Armor indicates that it is time for wear.  Unfortunately most Christians believe that they can suit up and battle without being train...

Sometimes our emotions can truly get the best of us.  God has given the creation the ability to feel certain things and certain ways within ourselves.  The issue is when our emotions begin to override the voice of the Holy Spirit as we navigate through life.  God will help us to manage these emotions to prevent us from going overboard and making instant decisions with eternal consequences.  The ri...

The break down of the family is truly what has caused the breakdown of our society and our nation. Families that are founded on the principles of the Almighty are the families that will be able to stand the test of time. Wayward children, absent fathers, distorted marriages and chaotic homes are all worth fighting for in Jesus name! Be sure to share this podcast and visit Emmanuel Church's soc...

It's not until life hits the very bottom that we understand the great need we have for Jesus to intervene.  When His supernatural comes in contact with our natural there is absolutely no limit to what the Father is capable of doing.  Prodigal living is more than just squandering finances but prodigal attitudes are just as damaging even in the presence of the Father. Satan has been instilling fear in the heart and minds of Christians since his fall from heaven to earth.  Unfortunately fear has crippled and neutralized many of God's people.  How you respond to the roaring of the enemy will determine whether you can be devoured or not.  Treat fear like the spirit that it is and fight it with the Holy Spirit. Anything good eventually will run into problems whether marriage, business or even ministry.  Even the early church faced challenges and with Jesus Christ they were able to push through.  Legalism has been the church's kryptonite then and now and must be stopped at all cost.  Pull on God during these times not to take you around the dilemma but to carry you out through the other side so that y...

Many Christians have lost their passion and really need to get the fire back!  As Jesus is evaluating the churches of the apocalypse He addresses one in particular who's abandoned their first love.  The answer Jesus says is to simply do what you did at first when you originally fell in love.  Get your fire back in this season of life and allow the the Lord to use you without regret.  Be sure t...

In one breath Jesus gives Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven and in the next He tells Satan to get behind Him!  Peter allowed the mindset of the world to interfere with the ultimate plan of Almighty God.  What are you allowing to get in your way that has removed your focus from the Kingdom of God? How many times have we listened to our own voice over the voice of the Holy Spirit?  The Holy Spirit isn't just power but He is power plus intelligence!  The Holy Spirit gives you advice based on your past, present and future even in spite of truly knowing who you are.  Stop ignoring His voice because you think you have it all figured out.  Lay down your intelligence in exchange for His!  &quo...

The church of today does a great job in preaching about victory, and prosperity and about how to live blessed.  Never are we engaged with biblical conversation that surrounds pain and crushing.  Let us like the apostle Paul join Jesus Christ in the fellowship of His sufferings and in the power of His resurrection.  Just remember that the power comes only after we have been crucified by and through...

Many American Christian churches are chasing the blueprint of another ministry that was tailored made specifically for that church.   Sadly on an individual level there are many American Christians who are chasing the blueprint of another person that has also been tailor made by God for that specific individual.  Jesus Christ Himself has called us the workmanship of His glory!  This means we have...

When you peek into the life of Jesus Christ you realize quickly that He never lived a rushed life.  He was walking when he met Levi, He was walking off the shore towards the paralytic and He was walking on the way to the grave of Lazarus.  If we serve a Jesus that never rushed why are we living such rushed lives?  The only medicine that will ever fix God's people and cure the sickness of this...

The Kingdom of Heaven is not only God having supernatural dominion in the realm of the Spirit but the will of God being executed here on earth.  Jesus said, "Since the days of John the Baptist that the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence and the violent take it by force".  This means that when the Kingdom of Heaven advances so do the attacks against it.  This is a tug-of-war of sorts...
