CW Practice Bit
A great way to spend 10-15 minutes in the car, or going about your day listening to CW... Also, a great cure for insomnia.

Two QSOs at different speeds with different keys and some confusion 05.10.2026 17:38
See if you can get the information in these QSOs. A couple of cities are mentioned, and there is some confusion on one of them. This is all normal in CW at the beginner level. Don't be afraid to call CQ even if you are not sure what you are copying is correct.
S1E12 Hearing Different Accents. Paddles QSO with Mechanical Keys. 21.09.2026 22:50
In this episode you will hear two contacts with very different "fists" at a speed of around 5 - 8 words per minute. Letter speed is faster, but the spacing between letters (Farnsworth space) is a lot. So, all in all: 5-8 WPM. The thing about this episode is that there are different "accents" or "fists" and they are very unique.
Victory Over Japan Special Day Event (18-15 wpm) 19.09.2026 9:34
Ham radio is full of commemorations, special days, and other events to gather contacts and make people aware of events around them. This is one of those special days, with a non traditional callsign (1x1) and calling with a special CQ Call. The exchange is simple (RST and State), but the activator has more to say. Pay attention and enjoy.
SST with 3 operators 8,18 and 10 wpm. 18.09.2026 20:57
This is a very begginer friendly contest. The exchange is a variation of the following: Caller: CQ SST <callsign> Response: <my call> Caller: <my call> TU <their name> <their state> Response: TU <their name> <my name> <my state> Caller: TU <my name> SST DE <callsign>
Two slow (10-15 wpm) standard exchange 05.09.2026 20:58
These are two qsos at a comfortable speed. There are mistakes and different fists. Try to get callsigns and weather or something else.
Semi-formulaic Ragchew 23.08.2026 13:24
See if you can get callsigns and facts about these people's equipment, qth and other stuff.
A bit of Ragchew. Not too fast, not too slow (20wpm) 06.06.2026 8:54
In this recording there are prosigns and punctuation, including slashes. The sending is a bit fast, but not impossible if you can copy 15wpm. If you can have a qso at 10wpm, the goal is to copy 30% or more.
Ragchew at 20wpm and at 15ish 11.05.2026 26:54
In this episode there are two "ragchew-y" QSOs. One is rather fast while the other is slower. If you can't copy the fast one, try copying the slower one. If you can't copy much, try to get a callsign and a name, and perhaps the weather (WX). 73
