Welcome, friends, to the Book of Onyx .  There's a Zulu proverb that goes: "A person is a person because there are people." For so long, I've put an enormous effort toward living my life as an individual. I relegated the import of society as a collective. However, as I journey across the chasm separating my true self from my prescribed self, I've learned that community is...
