Almost Accurate

This week the boys will regale you with not one, but TWO tales of mischief, cars flying off things they normally wouldn't fly off of, big magnets, witches and murder.  That's right.... we're talking Fast and Furious 9 and Fear Street 1994!  Did.... you not get that from that well thought out description?? Almost Accurate is a weekly pop culture podcast hosted by Jake and Ryan who review the latest...

Back from a two week break, the boys have some episodes of Loki to catch up on, and what a show it's turned out to be! We're not even going to try and write a joke in the description about this, it's just a really good time. See? We did something wholesome. Right there in the episode description. We really are maturing.  Also- E3 happened this year! We got a look at the upcoming Breath of the Wild...

This week: one of the worst titles for a movie that we've heard in a while. That's right- it's time for the boys to talk about some big bad demons in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Jake has watched Raya and the Last Dragon (which was a bit meh) and they've got news this week. SO MUCH NEWS. Turns out Square Enix has finally fixed Cloud's door so look forward to paying $70 to see that door...

It's a rapid-fire round of news this weeks folks! That's right, we do an ant-Zack Snyder and instead of making this episode 4 hours long, we absolutely truck it through some news, from the Sony State of Play, to The Last Night in Soho.  Who thinks a Zombie movie in Vegas sounds cool? Zack Snyder sure did, and we have to admit the premise was pretty damn cool. How does the rest of the movie stack u...

This week the boys (well at least one of them) takes on the newest of Michael B. Jordan's new vehicles, Tom Clancy's No Remorse. Is this a joyless and mostly predictable ride in the vein of most of Tom Clancy's novels, video games and movies? Yes. Yes it absolutely is. Should you (our listeners) subject yourself to nearly 2 hours of this Amazon sanctioned nonsense? No. No you shouldn't. However, l...

It's Ryan's most anticipated movie of 2021..... it's time for MORTAL KOMBAT!!! The movie where they don't actually do the tournament that's called.... you know... Mortal Kombat. But hey, is there still plenty of combat with a k in this movie? You bet there is. Is there still the signature fatalities that the series has become known for? Well does a lady get sawed in half by a hat in this movie?? (...

Everybody is somebody right? Even if that somebody just so happens to be an ex-government homicidal lunatic. I bet that's someone that you wouldn't want to steal from right? Maybe just break into their house haphazardly and come away with a minuscule amount of cash and perhaps also a 7-year old's kitty cat bracelet that might be the exciting incident that kicks the whole plot into high gear. Right...

Join the boys this week as they catch up on the ever wonderful Falcon and the Winter Solider (which is great).  Jake has also been playing some Apple Arcade games (which mostly aren't as great but he's finally found a few gems), new releases, Fantasian and the wonderfully strange game Hitchhiker.  There's plenty of news too. Are the Fast and Furious crew going to space? Probably. Is there going to...

It's finally here folks... the moment all (or at least the ones of you that have sent death threats to executives of Warner Brother Studios) have been waiting for... it's the SNYDER CUT. Or perhaps we should say the version of Justice League that definitely wasn't going to be 4+ hours long when Zack Snyder was originally working on this but since so much has happened since 2017 and the Joss Whedon...

Xbox Live is going away (really it's just a rebranding) Warner Brothers aren't going to be putting their movies straight on to HBO Max in 2022 (for the time being) and Black Widow is finally coming out! (on Disney+ and in select theaters).  We've also got a brand new Marvel TV series to talk about! The boys sit down to discuss all this and more in this week's episode...

Seriously Square... we just want to know ho...

Who remembers Throwback Thursdays? Are we too old for that? I feel like we might be getting a bit too old for that.  Anyhow, since we don't have a new episode for you this week, we've decided to put together a clip show for all of you, whether you've been with us from the very beginning (God bless you) or whether this is your very first time listening to us (then you're in for a TREAT just so you...

Seriously people, if you aren't familiar with the Britney Spears story, it's worth a watch. Hell... even if you aren't familiar with it, it's sh...

What's up guys? Is it cold where you're at? Is your power even on?  Feel free to chew up any of that precious, precious phone battery life you may have left and let the boys into your home this week (seriously, it's cold out there and they'd really appreciate it).  This week: the boys recite in complete and total detail EVERYTHING that Nintendo announced on their February 17th Direct, Cruella gets...

Also- Bil...

So much news this week!  Listen to this episode in reverse to catch some amazing references that we so thoughtfully placed throughout. Almost Accu...
