Spoil Me

Thank you so much to Tonje for commissioning this episode! This was a hell of a ride, in that we're gearing up to something huge and you can practically hear the clickclickclick of the rollercoaster cresting the top of the hill. Niko finally leaves Eve, and honestly it's really so sketchy to me that he is staying with the woman who is in love with him. Niko, wyd. Meanwhile, Eve is coping with the...

Thank you very much to the anonymous benefactor who commissioned me and RoShawn to cover this episode! Lord, Red Dwarf is the goofiest show I've ever seen and it's so good. I love everything about it: the cheap sets, the almost non-existent effects, the over-the-top characters, and the technology with an attitude problem. And of course, it goes without saying, I love Cat. I hope so much that you e...

Thank you very much to Martin for commissioning this episode! These chapters are when we get to see what the Abbess's plan was really all about. Indeed, we get to find out that she had a plan to begin with, which I was beginning to doubt. And while this works out in its initial stages, it becomes increasingly clear that she maybe underestimated Sherzal's bloodthirstiness and her willingness to tak...

Thank you to Andrea for commissioning this episode! Yoooooo so shit has really gone left with Eve and Niko, and I have some mixed feelings about it. Overall, I feel ready for Niko to no longer be a major factor in Eve's story, and I feel like this is the best possible outcome for him because he's at least still alive. However, I'm not sure about having some random out there knowing as much as he d...

Thank you to Michael for commissioning this episode! This episode is super compelling to me because it focuses on just the sort of boring shit that will probably be the exact thing that ends the world because none of us wanna pay attention to such an unsexy risk. We get to see what happens when a major player doesn't cooperate, and what happens is that one of the team winds up taking their place w...

I'm so sorry I posted out of order! I'm planning to backdate this episode so that they show up correctly in the stream, but thank you to Raven for bringing the missing episode to my attention. This episode is the one in which Eve begins to stray a little bit more to the Dark Side. There are some discussions about what constitutes a psychopath, and she seems to display some behaviors that MAY indic...

Thank you to Michael for commissioning this episode! Alright kids, I'm not at all sure that I have a good grasp on what's happening, but I will say that this episode marks the very first time that I was cheering for Bartoz. I'm getting very annoyed with Jonas and I needed someone to call him out. Meanwhile there's the whole thing with Charlotte, which I'm super duper curious about. I think she's t...

Thank you ever so much to Michael for commissioning this episode! This is definitely one of the more gruesome episodes so far as the site of four murders is uncovered by construction workers. These are all members of the same team, and there was one person who was also on the team who is still missing...this turns out to be Jacob, and the poor guy isn't long for this world. I loved seeing McClaren...

Thank you to Anna for commissioning this episode! The main thing that concerns me, of course, is how close Veronica came to having her head shaved. I'm not sure if this was the actual rapist or some kind of copycat who is trying to send a message, but either way I don't care for it. There's just been some highly suspect stuff this season, and it's hard for me to get past whatever the show is tryin...

Thank you very much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! I'm so happy with the way things go in this section of chapters because we finally have Lilia making a smart decision and going off with Anyi. I really can't imagine what's going to happen when she is introduced to Sonea, but I'm hoping that Sonea will attempt to use her to trap Skellin. Meanwhile, Lorkin is just going to have to wait...

Thank you again to Ashley for commissioning this episode! Okay, look, I like you Lilia. I really do, even though you're kind of a bozo. And it's no mean feat to get me to like a character who is this much of a dope. But damn, honey, you're going to need to WAKE THE HELL UP. I mean....damn! How many people are going to turn you into their little puppet? And Lorkin...buddy, I have no advice for you....

Thank you to Agnes for commissioning this episode! So this was kind of an intense episode, and I mean that in both a positive and a negative way. In the positive column, we've got Keith and Harmony, a pairing which is perhaps ill-advised on their parts but still compelling and crackling with chemistry. And honestly, I get why Veronica disapproves but like....GET IT, KEITH! In the negative column,...

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, we get to see Naki be duplicitous fucking bitch and I for one am so ready for Lilia to wake up and smell the fucking Raka already. This trifling con-artist needs to go DOWN and I'm so ready to see it happen. Meanwhile, Lorkin is navigating the waters in the infirmary, trying to figure out how he can use his healing magic to k...

Thank you to Melanie for commissioning this episode! So this is one of the weirder chapter sections so far in this series, but i'm a big fan of seeing the alien beings this lady comes up with. Oh, and by the way, Nita finally has told Kit what's going on, and I'm so relieved! I was starting to wonder if they were just going to be doing their own things for the majority of the book and wind up conn...

Thank you to Yama for commissioning this episode! These chapters we get to see some of the preliminary efforts of Nita's forays into the test worlds, and it's a pretty neat idea altogether. She has to find the kernel of this little pocket universe, and it turns out that in his little playground, Kit ALSO is finding universe kernels. Which he apparently popped in his pocket and took home? It's real...

Thank you to Yama for commissioning this episode! So this is the one where we see the immediate fallout of the disaster that strikes Winden, and everything is a confused mess afterward the way it would be after any natural disaster. People are searching for the bodies of their loved ones, other people are showing up to guard the child version of their future spouse...you know, the usual. And Marth...

Thank you ever so much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, we get the whole picture of what the fuck Naki was planning, and yet despite the fact that it's pretty clear to us (the reader), poor Lilia hasn't a clue because she's so blinded by love and it. is. TRAGIC. Honestly, I really can't wait to watch Naki get what's coming to her, because fuck that bitch. Forreal. Tha...

Thank you very much to Yama for commissioning this episode! These chapters are mostly focused on Nita trying to figure out the best way to help her mom, and as of this point she still hasn't told Kit what's going on. It's understandable, because she's got this power at the tips of her fingers, that she would think this is something doable, but I figured that if it were as easy as all that there'd...

Thank you so much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! In these chapters of The Rogue, I am absolutely dreading where things are heading with Lillia and her new girlfriend. I don't like the involvement with roet, I don't like that there's this path she's being edged down, and overall I'm just really nervous about the whole thing. Meanwhile, there's some really messed up shit happening with...

Thank you again so much to Melanie for commissioning almost this entire series single-handedly, but also for introducing me to this wonderful series. I'm going to miss it so much. In these final episodes (which were apparently aired together as one), we get to see how the fuck you properly end a series. I cannot tell you guys how emotional I got when they're riding away on the bus, and I'm so angr...

Thank you to Andrea for commissioning this episode, and my apologies for calling this episode by the wrong name! I'm so excited to get back into this series, and I'm delighted to be seeing what appears to be genuine emotion coming from Villanelle. She's so devastated by the fact that Eve has apparently lost interest in her, and the fact that she falls apart while nobody is watching means that this...

Thank you very much to Yama for (kind of) commissioning this episode! YAY! I really really enjoyed the start of Season 3. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like to go into this other world, but the fact that we've gotten to know the original world so well makes this upside-down version very very effective. Seeing a world in which Jonas doesn't exist is really odd and throws me off completely,...

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning these chapters! I am so excited because there's a whole lesbian relationship forming and I really am rooting for it. I hope that things go better for them than they seemed to between Dannyl and Tayend. Although, now that Tayend is here in Sachaka maybe something will work out regarding their relationship? So with Lorkin has an interesting conversation with t...

Thank you very much to Martin for commissioning this episode! I can't get over how the stakes, which are already so high, are made to feel even higher by this damn visit from Thuran Tacsis. (It's Thuran, right? Damn, I can't keep these assholes straight.) Letting me know that Nona will be tortured if she isn't rescued in time is a helluva tension-raiser and adds so much more to the whole story. Al...

Thank you so much to Melanie for commissioning this episode! We're in the home stretch for this show, and I'm kind of dreading things ending...and episodes like these make me dread it all the more. I mean, the prison of Mabel's fantasies is one of the most packed episodes, both in terms of plot and in terms of jokes, and I had to pause it so many times to let some truly great moments sink in. I ca...
