Spoil Me

Thank you to Max for commissioning this episode! In this episode, Roy goes up against Envy and everyone seems to be really concerned with Roy's treatment of Envy but personally I was lowkey into it because Envy is kind of the meanest out of all homunculi. Also, there's a wonderful bit where Envy turns into Hughes and it goes SO MUCH BETTER than it has in other episodes. Thank you to everyone for l...

Thank you to George for commissioning this episode! So these are the chapters where Calder & Co. finally catch up to Lucan and they have a confrontation where Lucan shows off his incredible abilities, which makes his death seem even more of a waste. Fucking Jyrene, tho. I'm really so frustrated with her, and I'm not sure how she sees this playing out but I don't think there's any possibility of a...

Thank you very much to Max for commissioning this episode! In this installment, we get to see Al continue his fight with Pride, this time adding Kimblee to the mix. Turns out that Al has a Philosopher's Stone (saved by Heinkel) and he's holding his own once again. Meanwhile, the Armstrongs are engaged in a pitched battle against Sloth, and they get interrupted by the damn military who has not gott...

Thank you to George for commissioning this episode! This is an interesting section, and one of the more compelling moments for me is that instant where Andel gets to see the expression on Jyrene's face change in an intense and dramatic fashion when she attempt to initiate some other prisoners into the Sleepless. He has one very rational and understandable interpretation, but I am not sure I totall...

Thank you to Max for commissioning this episode! Listen, plenty of things happen this episode that are all very important, but the thing I can't get out of my head is the sound of these poor enslaved souls screaming as they're brought to life. I DO NOT LIKE THIS. Thanks for listening I GUESS, and see you soon with a new episode!

Thank you very much to George for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which Calder manages to ally himself more firmly with Meia, and Jyrene gets some more direct assistance from Kellerac. Turns out that he's the one who gave her back her soulbound vessel, and he also tells her that Shera shouldn't even still be alive. What does that even mean? Thanks for listening, and I wi...

Thank you so much to Max for commissioning this episode! In this one, things finally begin to pop off in the midst of Central right in amongst the civilians, and so far Roy is trying to keep this bloodless which I found REALLY surprising. Especially after abducting the Fuhrer's wife. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Thank you very much to Heather for commissioning this episode! In these chapters (which I need to sort of finish covering next time because I get carried away talking about so many many things), we have a confrontation between Jenna and Widow, and that shit doesn't go the way I expected at all. Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Thank you very much to George for commissioning this episode! These chapters are the ones in which we learn what things were like for Urzaia as a kid, and how he wound up in the Champions guild, and then the fighting pits. Turns out, we have another anti-emperor sympathizer. SCORE! Thanks so much to you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Thank you very much to Max for commissioning this episode! This episode is the one where Hempstool helps Al to trap Pride in a massive onion of earth, only Al winds up trapped in there with him. As a necessary sacrifice, yes, but I don't like it. Pride, for his part, confides that he actually really rather likes his "mom" beyond just her role as a mask for his false identity. Thank you all so much...

Thank you very much to George for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, we get the meeting of Calder and Andel, and it turns out that their relationship makes a lot more sense in retrospect now that I know why Andel was originally brought aboard. We also have the first meeting with Urzaia, but this isn't when he actually joins the team. What a delight he is. Thank you all for listening, a...

Thank you very much to Max for commissioning this episode! In this episode, we get the fight where Pride has to consume Gluttony in order to keep his strength up. I keep having to be reminded that Pride isn't a kid, and that the tactics I'm expecting him to use aren't necessary. Also, Father has been put into the war room to discuss what Mustang is about to do, and turns out they were correct in a...

Thank you to George for commissioning this episode! Alright it's time to launch into Calder's story, and find out exactly how he got to where he is. There's a remarkable attack that tears an entire ship in half, and Calder has to do his best to hold it together. Literally. In flashbacks we get to see Jyrene's cult and the strange events that lead to her getting a soulbound vessel. Thanks to you al...

Thank you again to Max for commissioning this episode! In this one, Al is getting puppeted by Pride in a sequence that is very upsetting because I HATE my cinnamon roll getting hurt. However, I'm very okay with Hohenheim getting hurt,so when Ed decks him across the face I couldn't help but cheer. I go on a bit of a rant about the man again, so get ready. Thanks for listening, and I will see you so...

Thank you so much to George for commissioning this episode! It's time for the end of the first of the second books. That sentence was confusing, but if you know you know. It ends with Shera as the new Guild Head, which I absolutely was not ready for and I am lowkey psyched about. I'm so excited to watch how much Yala is gonna fucking hate this. I'm just a little sad that she's still alive after al...

Thank you to Max for commissioning this episode! I'm so curious what the hell is going on with Al, and I just want him to get through the dang portal and get his body back because I simply HATE this for him. Pride grips him up by the end of the episode, and if ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY SWEET CINNAMON ROLL I WILL RIOT. Also, Ed is taller. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episod...

Thank you very much to George for commissioning this episode! I cannot tell you all how much I loved this. I won't bother explaining here because I do on the show, but damn. What a writer. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!

Thank you to Max for commissioning this episode! In this one, we get to see a fight between General Armstrong and Major Armstrong, and when I tell you I loved every second of this I'm not even exaggerating a little bit. There's no second of this that wasn't just wonderful. Also, Greed seems like he might be either ready to betray his fellow homunculi, or he's got some other con going on. I'm not g...

Thank you so much to George for commissioning this episode! I can't believe Lucan is dead. I really can't, honestly, and I'm super sad about it. I want there to be something that can bring him back, but at the same time that would cheapen the whole thing and I would hate it. Meanwhile, we're getting closer and closer to the moment when Shera kills the Emperor. Thanks for listening, and I will see...

Thank you to Max for commissioning this episode! In this episode, Ed and Al are still separated and Al winds up in Liore where his father is and they have a very not-memorable reunion. The thing that really gets me, though, is Greed running into a friend that he doesn't remember and killing him while the guy just asks why. Ugh. I hated it. Thanks for listening, and I will see you soon with a new e...

Thank you very much to George for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, Lucan begins a mission to go and check out the Optasia, a seat that the Emperor has used to address Elder problems from afar, and see if there's a way to disable it. He decides pretty quickly it needs to be destroyed. Meanwhile, Shera takes a shower and long soak with Teach, and says that she will do her best not to k...

Thank you ever so much to Max for commissioning all these episodes! In this episode the Fuhrer tells Hawkeye that he actually did choose his wife. I can't really tell if that's an expression of affection, or if there was something strategic in his choice, but I'm suspicious of him sharing this information at all. Meanwhile, I thought that our crew was being betrayed but it turns out it was all a t...

Thank you to George for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, our original trio of the Emperor's helpers go with Shera is kind of entrapped into a situation in which she loses her cool and completely gives in to the will of her blade. She ends up killing the head of a Guild, which is a pretty serious offense. I can't imagine this is going anywhere good. Thanks so much for listening, and I...

Thank you very much to Max for commissioning this episode! In this episode, we get to see some of the information about Alkahestry getting decoded by our friends. Meanwhile, Kimblee is under pressure to carve the blood sigil for the Homunculi and he somehow convinces another country to attack? And of course, we watch Hempstool probe the depths of the tunnels under Liore and find Pride, and we get...

Thank you to George for commissioning this episode! In these chapters, we get to see a new character, a nameless slave, that it takes me way too long to realize is probably the Emperor. Also, Shera and Ayana catch up with Darius and there's a confrontation outside of the Luminian headquarters. Thanks so much to you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
