We talk a bit about the Zimmer and Cousins pressers, along with some broken record BS that we continue to hear. 2018 has been a disastrous calendar year for the Minnesota Vikings, starting all the way back with the blow out loss to the Eagles in the NFC Championship game. Nothing really felt right this year, especially when the Vikings were crushed at home by the Buffalo Bills, we knew we were in trouble. The hapless performance at home vs Chicago with everything on the line was really no different than the...

The Minnesota Vikings, as they did coming into this week, control their own destiny. The Vikings won, and so did Philadelphia, so the whole "Win and In!" mode will role into US Bank Stadium as the Purple host the NFC North Champion Chicago Bears. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices. The Minnesota Vikings were "Cookin' Fish" with a balanced offense, that involved a dominant running game including both Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray! facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafia paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices. The Minnesota Vikings offense has fallen off the face of the earth, making the Patriots look like the '85 Bears last week, and the Seattle Seahawks look like "The Emerald Curtain" on Monday night, leading to the firing of John DeFilippo. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices. The Brad Childress "Kick-Ass" offense was back full force on Sunday, with some of the most maddening play calling that you've ever seen. Slant plays to Laquan Treadwell on 4th down is enough to turn the most positive Vikings fan into a full-on Curmudgeon! facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices....

In a game that could have gone either way due to mistakes and missed opportunities on both sides, Minnesota came out on top, putting the Packers season in jeopardy. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices. The Minnesota Vikings had a team record ten sacks against the struggling and unhappy Detroit Lions in US Bank Stadium. Danielle Hunter was a force to be reckoned with early and often, winding up with 3.5 sacks. Cousins again had a weird lapse, which almost put the Lions back in the game, but the Vikings defense just wasn't having it what-so-ever! facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow palad...

The Minnesota Vikings ended a 48 years drought on Sunday, by finally winning a road game against the New York Jets, since they started playing each other in 1970! More injuries continued to plague the Vikings, and the wind made itself know on several occasions, making this quite the sloppy passing (and Kicking) game. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into ou...

Yes, the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Arizona Cardinals in US Bank Stadium 27-17, but why is it always an adventure at home? It's safe to say the Vikings have been nothing short of incredible on the road, but all of their worst games this year have been right in our own back yard. It's been baffling to say the least. Adam Thielen continued his historic streak, and the Zimmer defense for the most...

It's six games late, but we'll take what we can get. The Minnesota Vikings defense resembled what we've grown to love the past four years under Mike Zimmer, a gritty defense that shut people down, and forced some game changing turnovers. Well... for three quarters anyway. The fourth quarter was another story, but luckily the Purple never relinquished the lead, and BARELY hung on to a nearly disast...

Everytime you have a great offense or defense one year, it's just never the same the next year,it's a fact of NFL history. The 38-31 loss to the Rams in Los Angeles, continues to show just how far the Vikings defense is from where it was last year. facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-736-7877 Learn more about your ad choices. The score 27-0 says it all, when you consider that was the score for an extended period of time vs the Buffalo Bills, AT HOME, in US Bank Stadium. There was no defense what-so-ever in the first half, along with no offense that lead to anything until just over three minutes remained in the game! facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone Lines at:209-73...

In a game in Lambeau Field that looked long over, Kirk Cousins stayed calm and showed what he's made of, in only his second game with the Minnesota Vikings. Despite such an incredible effort and so many scary moments coming against the Purple, the result was a tie, filled with Urban Legends. Frustrations mounted in Purple Mafia Nation, as Daniel Carlson missed all three field goals attempted, and...

Kirk Cousins had a fairly exciting debut for the Minnesota Vikings, until the fourth quarter, when things got ugly. Mike Hughes got the start and was off to the races, already looking the part and some. The Vikings defense bent, but didn't break at crucial times, as Harry the Hitman saved the day once again! facebook.com/purplemafiashow @purplemafiashow paladinolive@yahoo.com Call into our Phone L...
