What happens when the world feels like it is falling apart? Revelation 6–7 gives us a powerful picture of suffering, judgment, persecution, and the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

In Revelation 5, John provides a powerful picture of Jesus as the Lamb who is worthy. Through the vision of the scroll, we're reminded that Jesus has conquered sin and evil and is entirely worthy of our worship, as well as our lives.

As we continue our Revelation Unveiled series, we take another look at Jesus’ message to the church in Thyatira and how John uses both the culture of his day and the Old Testament to reveal what Jesus is saying. Understanding that context helps us see Revelation in a different way. This message looks at perseverance, compromise, and the call to remain loyal to Jesus no matter what is happening aro...

Quieting our hearts feels impossible when the daily tasks start stacking up on us. Within these distractions, it is easy to forget what Jesus did for us. In this message from Barbie James, we look at Jesus’ morning rhythm of stepping away from the noise and spending time with his father. Start and end your day with God this week. • Practical Tool: Use an app like Lectio 365 to guide your morning a...

As we continue our Revelation Unveiled series, we come to Jesus’ message to the church in Laodicea—a church that had become comfortable, self-sufficient, and spiritually lukewarm. Jesus challenges them to take an honest look at their faith and their priorities. Are we truly growing in our relationship with Him? Are we allowing comfort and self-reliance to shape our lives? And are we living in a wa...

As we continue our Revelation Unveiled series, we come to the church in Philadelphia, a small congregation living faithfully in the middle of a culture that was often opposed to their faith. Jesus reminds the church of Philadelphia that He holds the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and only He can open the doors that no one can shut. The church of Philadelphia is a powerful reminder that God can use...

In Part 9 of our Revelation Unveiled series, we continue looking at Jesus’ message to the church in Sardis. Jesus calls this church to wake up from spiritual complacency and return to a life of genuine faithfulness. The believers who remained faithful in Sardis chose to live differently without isolating themselves from the world around them. Their example challenges us to consider what people see...

As we continue our Revelation Unveiled series, we come to Jesus' message to the church in Thyatira. While this church was known for its love, service, and perseverance, it was also allowing compromise to take root. Revelation 2:18–29 reminds us that faith is more than something we believe—it shapes the way we live. Our habits, choices, and daily lives reveal where our allegiance truly lies. Je...

As we continue our Revelation Unveiled series, we look at Jesus' message to the church in Pergamum and His warning against compromise. Surrounded by a culture that pressured believers to blend in, some remained faithful while others slowly adopted the values of the world. Revelation 2:14–17 challenges us to examine our own lives. Where are we tempted to compromise? What does genuine repentance...

Continuing on in our Revelation Unveiled series, we journey to the ancient city of Pergamum—a place known for its wealth, learning, political power, and religious devotion—but beneath its success was a culture filled with counterfeit gods competing for people's worship. In Jesus' letter to the church in Pergamum, He commends believers for remaining faithful under pressure while also confronting th...

What does it mean to remain faithful when following Jesus comes at a cost? In Part 3 of our Revelation Unveiled series, we look at Jesus' letter to the church in Smyrna—a church facing slander, persecution, and suffering because of their allegiance to Christ. Through their example, we're reminded that true freedom isn't found in independence or self-rule, but in wholehearted devotion t...

In this message from Revelation 2:1–7, we continue our Revelation Unveiled series by examining Christ's letter to the church in Ephesus. Living in one of the most influential and spiritually challenging cities of the Roman Empire, the believers in Ephesus were commended for their perseverance, discernment, and unwavering commitment to truth.

In Part 2 of our Revelation Unveiled series, we explore John's vision of the risen and glorified Jesus in Revelation 1:9–20. Writing from exile on the island of Patmos, John receives a powerful reminder that even in times of suffering, persecution, and uncertainty, God is still on the throne. As the early church faced pressure from the Roman Empire and emperor worship, Jesus revealed Himself a...

In the first message of our new series, Revelation Unveiled, we begin exploring the Book of Revelation and why it matters for followers of Jesus today. Rather than becoming obsessed with end-times speculation or avoiding the book altogether, Revelation invites us to stand firm in our faith, live with hope, and remain faithful to Christ in a challenging world. This message looks at Revelation 1:1–8...

As we conclude our Unshakeable: A Faith That Won’t Fold series, Daniel 12 brings us face to face with two spiritual realities: the certainty of God's victory and the reality that every person will ultimately stand before Him. This final chapter of Daniel contains some of the Bible's most debated prophetic passages, but its central message is clear: God remains in control.

This week, Pastor Jennifer Deardorff invites us to explore what it means to live with a whole-bodied faith—loving God with our heart, soul, strength, and everything entrusted to us. Drawing from both the Old and New Testament, we see that biblical stewardship is about far more than finances. It is a way of life shaped by devotion to God and expressed through generosity, hospitality, and care for o...

In this message from Daniel 9–11, we explore prophecy, spiritual warfare, and the reminder that God remains sovereign even in chaotic and uncertain times. Daniel is given wild visions with various scholarly interpretations. However we interpret these passages, they nevertheless point toward God’s larger plan of redemption through the Anointed One as well as the reality of spiritual opposition and...

In Daniel 9, we find Daniel praying for a broken nation, confessing sin, and standing before God on behalf of others. Instead of responding to the world around him with outrage or self righteousness, Daniel responds with repentance, humility, and intercession. This message explores what it means to “stand in the gap” in a culture pulling people away from God. Daniel also recognizes that the deeper...

This message in our series Unshakeable: A Faith That Won't Fold, we walk through the historical background behind Daniel's vision, including the rise of Alexander the Great, the spread of Greek culture, and the persecution brought by Antiochus. Daniel 8 reminds us that the struggle between faithfulness and compromise is not new. Even in chaotic times, God sees history clearly, and His peop...

In Part 10 of Unshakeable: A Faith That Won’t Fold, we step into Daniel 7 and his almost Revelation-like visions of beasts, horns with eyes, and the Ancient of Days. At first glance with it's strange and powerful imagery, one may find themselves overwhelmed while navigating the latter half of Daniel, especially with it's apocalyptic literature. Yet in the middle of all of this, Daniel is g...

In this message, we take a break from our series on David and take a deeper dive into giving and generosity. Here we are challenged us to rethink how we approach giving as an act of trust and worship rather than obligation. When we put God first, it allows us to shape our hearts and align our lives with Him.

In this message from Daniel 6, we look at a simple but important idea: what you do daily shapes who you are when life gets hard. Daniel didn’t suddenly become strong when he was thrown into the lions’ den. In fact, his unshakeable faith was already there. It had been built over time through quietly and consistently trusting God. King Darius, who had power and control, could not find peace. It’s a...

Daniel 5 presents a sobering look at a life that had every opportunity to "come to God", yet ignored every one of them. Belshazzar knew the truth, and witnessed God’s work in real-time, and yet still chose his pride above all things. This message invites us to consider how we respond to what God shows us. Are we taking His Word seriously, or slowly drifting into compromise?
