Valley Life - Sermon Audio

“What if?” can make us rehearse tomorrow’s problems before tomorrow ever arrives. When Moses worries that no one will believe him, God provides miraculous signs. Yet Pharaoh, Israel, and even Moses demonstrate that seeing a sign does not necessarily produce lasting trust. In this message from Exodus 3–7, we consider what it means to trust God when he has promised the destination but has not reveal...

Who is the LORD? Moses and Pharaoh both ask that question—but they ask it in very different ways. Moses asks because he wants to know the God who is sending him. Pharaoh asks in defiance: “Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice?” The unfolding story of the Exodus is God’s answer. In this message from Exodus 3–6, we explore the name God reveals to Moses—“I AM”—and what the Exodus teaches us...

Who are you when your past, your failures, and other people’s labels pull you in different directions? By the time Moses encounters God at the burning bush, he has lived under many identities: condemned Hebrew infant, Pharaoh’s daughter’s son, member of the Egyptian royal household, fugitive, husband, father, shepherd, and failed would-be deliverer. So when God calls him to lead Israel out of Egyp...

When God seems absent and his people feel forgotten, Exodus reminds us that God sees their suffering, hears their cries, remembers his covenant, and knows. In this opening message from Exodus: The Way Out, Pastor Adam Young traces the story from God’s promises to Abraham through Joseph and Israel’s enslavement in Egypt. Along the way, we discover why Exodus is so important to the biblical story—an...

In Acts 8:1–25, we see God use persecution, scattering, and unexpected people to move the gospel into new places and new hearts. What looked like a setback for the early church became a powerful catalyst for God’s mission. This message explores how God often uses difficult seasons, disrupted plans, and unlikely messengers to accomplish His purposes — and challenges us to consider whether we’re ful...

What does a gospel-centered life actually look like? In this message, we explore Jesus’ call to abide, not strive, and unpack the six marks of a disciple—a clear picture of the kind of life the gospel produces. This message is not about earning God’s favor through good works, but about the fruit that grows when our lives are truly rooted in Christ.

Why does our church exist—and why does it matter? In this message, we introduce our mission statement and explore the biblical foundation for living a gospel-centered life in Christ and for the sake of our valley. This sermon clarifies who we are, where God has placed us, and how we are called to live together as the people of God.

Sometimes we choose hard things in life and sometimes hard things are throw at us when we don't want them. But God never wastes suffering in our lives. He uses them to mold and shape us into the men and women he has created us and called us to be.

While the Gospel authors Luke and Matthew begin the Christmas story with talking about the details surrounding Jesus' birth, John starts his Gospel account in a different way: exploring the spiritual significance of what it means for us that God became man.

This Christmas at Valley Life Church, we’re walking through a new series called Miraculous Moments, exploring the surprising and supernatural ways God worked in the story of Jesus’ birth. These moments weren’t just ancient wonders—they show us how God still speaks, guides, and works today. If you’re looking for hope, direction, or a reminder that God is near, this series is for you. #VLC #Christma...
