Guillermo Del Toro is back with a very random, in my opinion, movie but the bright side of this mysterious film is this star studded cast overall... Bradley Cooper here, Cate Blanchett there, Ron Pearlman and William Dafoe, etc. It's loaded to say the least. So while I went into this completely blind, the names attached to this had me sold for the most part. Enjoy, folks.

V/H/S was a found footage flick that truly creeped me all thee way the hell out, like seriously... What those guys behind the camera put together in the form of an anthology was just insane and disturbing in great ways. Even though the last go round with the series wasn't as good as the previous two, it wasn't terrible enough to keep me from this new one. So I'm curious to see what nightmare fuel...

Make no mistake when I say that this is the last House Party movie for me... This is almost a book ending thing for this series as far as I'm concerned, so parts 4 and 5 (Yes, they exist unfortunately) mean nothing, and that's no offense to those involved. But to see Kid N Play, and a few other returning characters, go from high school parties to college parties to bachelor parties gone awry, it b...

It's time to up not only the ante, but the comedic antics as well since Kid N Play are having another go round... As bonkers as this movie is at times, this still holds a whole lot of humor and even warm moments throughout. I really wish Robin Harris had been alive to be in this sequel, but at least he is honored more than a few times here, and even has a dedication before the movie even starts. R...

Netflix has yet another original vampire flick to offer... Only this time, it's from a studio I trust more in, which is Blumhouse. A female black lead is always intriguing, and especially when she's banding together with her friends to stop a mansion full of vampires. Enjoy, people.

Enjoy, folks.

As a huge fan of The Return Of The Living Dead, I always went into the sequels with both curiosity and slight hesitation... Safe to say parts 2 and 3 stood out, while parts 4 and 5 were absolutely awful in every sense. So today I stumbled upon a fan film. A fan film that takes place decades after the original film, and of course it had both my slight hesitation and curiosity once again. I had a fe...

Another black cinema classic in the books, and rightfully so because this is another that's long overdue... I could go on and on about how this movie broke comedic and cultural ground, but I'll let the commentary speak for itself. Kid N Play came onto the big screen in a BIG way in 1990, and paved the way for other party and comedic antics based flicks to come for more decades. Enjoy, folks.

Once I put aside the gripes I have with some of this guy's narratives and executions on screen, I have to do nothing else but tip my hat to Tyler Perry for being a major success as a black man in Hollywood... His story and his growth is amazing, and that pretty much outweighs any issues I may have with a stage play, movie, or tv show. But this one, this movie is his best creation for me personally...

Normally I'm pretty particular about who I watch mask up and chase down unsuspecting victims in these movies but if Netflix wants to keep trying to win me over with originals, then keep them coming... I hadn't heard a thing about this damn movie, but the title alone grabbed me. Simplistic, yet intriguing in a way. Enjoy, yall.

Just a big HEADS UP really quickly because my audio cut short before I got a chance to cap off my episode outro and all, but me doing the usual double viewing of the trailer is still there... So apologies for the mishap towards the end. I almost didn't do a reaction for this since I have yet to sit through a single Marvel tv series. But since I always say Hawkeye doesn't get the credit he deserves...

If you've been keeping up with this podcast for quite some time, then you may (or may not) know how I feel about the Matrix films... I think these are really well made and genre bending films, but I'm one of those people who isn't crazy about them much at all. So for the creators to have the courage to make a fourth entry after pretty much book ending the last one is insane. Insane, but intriguing...

There were so many questions and some concerns long before this movie even came out, so I've been anxious to see it and even more anxious to share my thoughts with y'all afterwards... Let's just say the movie had an effect on me to the point that I had to go back and watch the original after seeing the new one. And that made me appreciate the new take even more. So let's see it the buzz, pun inten...

The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot... What's not to be excited about? Three people who have been apart of DC movies (upcoming Black Adam, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman), and three people who can completely balance action and humor bits on screen very well. And since Netflix just keeps winning me over with it's originals, I'm so ready to see this play out fully and ready to see how bonkers the action...

I think Roland Emmerich is one of those filmmakers who either is trying to tell us what's coming to Earth eventually eventually, or is planning his own damn attack at some point... Why does this guy insist on scaring the shit out for people with disaster flicks (me in particular) every few years? Whatever it is, it was enough to get Halle Berry into space for the ordeal. Enjoy, y'all.

Y'all know I wasn't missing this... And I wasn't waiting another second. Enjoy, people.

With school being back in session, who's to say that we can immediately trust these strange acting teachers?... And also, who's to say we can trust these students as well? It all may be a plot for am alien invasion, like I've been hoping for since I was a horror movie fan. Enjoy, people.

What a coincidence that this would be my very first episode to fully cover one of these movies, but it works out well for me... I actually had a great time going back on this and understanding just how much these movies mean to the culture. But y'all shall see. Enjoy, folks.

So my foot couldn't be further in my mouth at the moment since I'm very much looking forward to Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond... I never thought I'd see the day, but I guess old habits spy hard (don't unflollow me for that one there). Enjoy, folks.

Anytime there's a Halloween fan film in the mix, y'all know I'm absolutely interested... Depending on how it's presented of course. But since this is a follow up to H20, and since Resurrection is absolutely ass cheeks, I'm all for another interpret of what happens afterwards. Enjoy, people.

My apologies if I wasn't as enthusiastic as I normally am for this episode... It was just one of those days, so I didn't plan on recording. But I couldn't miss the chance to react to this long awaited and greatly spoiled trailer (I've been seeing leaked trailer stuff for months). But safe to say that I'm still excited for this multiverse to open up and give us some old heroes and villains from the...

This has probably got to be one of the most underrated werewolf movies of all time... When people think of this sub-genre in particular, they think of 80s classics like An American Werewolf In London and The Howling, but this one holds it own against those in my opinion. It had been a while since I watched this, but it made me remember how effective these films can be, and sometimes even without t...

It's hard to believe I haven't covered each and every single one of these films... Not only is this my favorite action series ever made, but Furious 7 is the film that I did my first ever podcast episode on. But in preparation for my F9 revisited commentary, I got this one in the can yesterday (sorry for the delay). This was either a step up or down for fans, but I always respect that it gave us t...

They really let it rip in all aspects with this here sequel... And for that, it will forever be top 2 in the entire franchise. The reason why becomes more evident in the episode. Enjoy, folks.

Like the tagline says: The body count continues... I honestly couldn't think of much to put here in the description other than that. But I do enjoy this entry. Enjoy, people.
