Epizody

Chucky Episode 2 Commentary (First Time Watch) 20.10.2021

I never thought I would be talking about how locked in I am with this series after one single episode... So I'll let the episode speak for itself. All I'll say is that with each thing he goes through, I am rooting more and more for Jake in this show. Enjoy, y'all.

Day Of The Dead Episode 1 Commentary (First Time Watch) 20.10.2021

I will be completely honest about this one here... Y'all know George A. Romero was and still is near and dear to my heart and so is Day Of The Dead in many ways but had they just called this series something different, I would be more open to it. This is the third attempt at cashing in on the property and while the last two are garbage, this one's trailer didn't sell me either. But it's zombies. A...

Slumber Party Massacre 2021 Commentary (First Time Watch) 19.10.2021

I went back a watched the original 1982 version of this once I was so annoyed by the news of the remake, and the poster... The original actually held up a hell of a lot better than I thought for yet another cheesy slasher flick. The sequels are straight up trash truck juice, so one could imagine the expectations I had for this overall. But I'm a fair man, so I decided to throw ALL expectations out...

Halloween Kills IntoxiCommentary 18.10.2021

This is starting to become one of those Halloween entries that I may never get tired of... It crept it's way into my top five right away, and it just seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. Some of this stuff I say during may be repetitive in regards to my review, but I had to get this one out to y'all. Enjoy, people.

PeaceMaker Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 17.10.2021

To my surprise, I actually dug John Cena as PeaceMaker in The Suicide Squad... And that was me being fresh off of surprisingly liking him as Jakob Toretto in Fast 9. So it's safe to say that this guy has made me do a turnaround as far as these action roles he's into, and I'm okay with that. This is a character who ended up surviving the madness, and is back to be raunchy, awkward, and violent all...

Black Adam Teaser Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 17.10.2021

I know little to nothing about Black Adam, except that he is very closely tied to Shazam... But I wasn't too crazy about that film in particular, so it was kind of weird that I was looking forward to this here. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but basically I'm trying to say that I'm intrigued about what The Rock will do in this movie as a much darker character. Enjoy, y'all.

The Flash Teaser Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 17.10.2021

Ezra Miller is back as Barry Allen, and that's pleasant news to me since I very much enjoyed his portrayal as The Flash in Justice League... The Snyder Cut did him WAY more justice (pun intended) than that Whedon thing, so it got me more attached to how entertaining he is to watch on screen. But this is different. Here we have different timelines, which can be either cool as hell or messy as ever....

The Batman Trailer 2 Reaction/Thoughts 17.10.2021

The first time they gave us a Batman trailer, I lost my damn mind... This time, I'm sure one could imagine, was really no different. Enjoy, folks.

Halloween Kills Spoiler Review 15.10.2021

"He creeps, He kills, He goes home"... Enjoy, folks.

Chucky Episode 1 Commentary (First Time Watch) 13.10.2021

I'd be lying if I said I was excited about this when it was announced... I honestly was still fresh on the high of the Child's Play remake and even with Don Mancini and Brad Dourif back on deck for a series, I wasn't buying the idea and definitely not the idea of it going to SyFy. But if I can make it through Seed Of Chucky, then I should be more than able to withstand whatever comedic and psychot...

Halloween 5 Doctor Death Footage Reaction/Thoughts 13.10.2021

Since today is the 32nd anniversary of Halloween 5's release, and since I learned this morning about the lost footage being online finally, I had to check this out... Most of the time, lost or archived footage is more like an urban myth if anything, but here we are with the much talked about footage of Doctor Death. The movie is pretty much set in stone for me, but seeing additional footage that w...

Alien Resurrection Commentary (Forever Defending Edition Pt. 2) 12.10.2021

So in the essence of my first Forever Defending episode, which was centered on Rob Zombie's Halloween II, I had to keep this thing going since it's been too long... And this is a flick that I will never shit on or let anyone change my mind about. Yes, this movie is wacky, insane and cartoonish at times, but those are all the ingredients that make this my most enjoyable Alien entry in the entire fr...

Home Sweet Home Alone Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 12.10.2021

To whomever thought this was a good idea, go fuck yourself... That is all. Enjoy, people.

Scream 2022 Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 12.10.2021

I think had Ghostface decided to stalk my phone and ask me what my favorite scary movie was, I'd for sure be dead since my answer would be Night Of The Living Dead... But Scream will always be in maybe the top 10-15 horror movies ever. The Late Great Wes Craven created something where red herrings are endless and the guessing game gets frustrating after a while. So I'm starting to think Kevin Will...

Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 08.10.2021

As a fan of the original Resident Evil movie franchise, I was definitely on the fence about this... Especially after seeing the cast of unknowns (to me anyway). But I kept telling myself that if the horror roots are the focal points this time around, I can dig that. Even still, something tells me I'd much rather have Alice around if I'm to venture back into Raccoon City this time around. Enjoy, pe...

80s Slasher Flicks That Deserve Remakes 30.09.2021

Warning: Anybody easily offended by the idea of remakes overall, this isn't the one for you... But if you're a glutton for punishment in that area and are a loyal listener, then bare with me and let me make this make sense. Of course we've had TONS of horror remakes, both good and bad, and obviously they're not stopping any time soon. My whole take on a remake is if creators are ballsy enough to t...

Mikey Commentary 24.09.2021

I'm not going to lie, this was a task to get through... Not because it's completely terrible, but more so because this damn demon disguised as a child just pisses me all the way off, and I think the characters surrounding him piss me off even more. This is the first time I've watched this movie in it's entirety since I was a kid, and I think I had more fun mocking it than actually enjoying it. Wha...

Which Mortal Kombat Characters Deserve Their Own Spinoff 24.09.2021

When WB broke the news that this year's live action Mortal Kombat would be expanding it's universe and possibly giving characters their very own films, my interest was definitely at stake... Not in a bad way, since I loved the recent movie, but there are some they could or couldn't take liberties with this time around. A big complaint people had was that the story just wasn't fully there, as well...

Clueless Commentary 23.09.2021

I meant when I said that if I have to watch more chick flicks to gain a bigger female listening audience, then so be it... And this isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. This is actually a movie I've always loved, due to the great casting and written humor. Even for a 90s teen comedy, this still holds up better than most thanks to it's stylish ways it has going for it. So much so that I think the...

Dune International Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 23.09.2021

It's been a long time coming with this movie, and there's no doubt in my mind that it'll all be worth it by the end... I still need to go back and revisit the original, but I get the idea of what's going on in this world, which is going to be pretty expensive if they play their cards right. All I ask is that the floating fat man does not make me fear for my life this time around. That's it. Enjoy,...

I Know What You Did Last Summer Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 23.09.2021

In the words of Randy Meeks in Scream 2... "Fuuuuuuuck Youuuuu!" Enjoy, people.

The Spore Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 22.09.2021

I went into this completely blind but if it smells like a body horror film that can get a reaction out of me, I'm all in favor of it... In a strange way, I'm sometimes looking to see how far these types of films can push the envelope with the idea of body horror type of stuff. Here's hoping. Enjoy, y'all.

Sometimes They Come Back Commentary (Happy 74th Birthday, Stephen King) 21.09.2021

In honor of Stephen King's big day, I decided to bang out a movie I've wanted to cover from the beginning... Not only a childhood classic for me, and in general, but a made for tv film that actually holds the weight of a bigger studio film for me. I also really still admire that this is a ghost tale, and not the average revenge slasher that it could've turned into. There's all types of atmosphere...

Halloween Kills Final Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 20.09.2021

No need for a lengthy caption... Y'all already know what's up. Enjoy, people.

Paranormal Activity: Next Of Kin Trailer Reaction/Thoughts 17.09.2021

And cue one of the biggest and most disappointing sighs in history... Oh, that and my yawn. Enjoy, people.
