As Rileigh describes him, a "cultural moment for the youths," and as Sydnee describes him (I guess), "her scruffy buddy," it's Harry! Not the Prince one the one from that boy band and with all the boas. Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! It's the jukebox musical with 100% more tuberculosis than any other, it has some of the best mashups and covers of all time, and we all can't stop watching it...it's Moulin Rouge! It's possibly the film that radicalized an entire generation to start guilting their parents into cutting those plastic soda rings and recycling, until it was overshadowed by a certain mouse with a big blue genie, it's FernGully! Yes, we've already done iCarly, but now she's all grown up and so is Rileigh! Over a decade later, Carly made a return to the internet and now she's allowed to say bad words, so we're revisiting the internet's original web show once again, but with 100% more bad words because, hey, Rileigh's older now too. It's all the teens are listening to right now, and also all the millennials and 20-somethings and adults are listening to right now, apparently. Olivia Rodrigo got her heart broken so she broke the internet and the world with a near perfect debut album, and we are HERE FOR IT. We will admit, the description of the movie's plot doesn't make it seem like the most fun watch, but we promise it's worth it. Teylor introduced us all this week to a 90s cult classic, and as three queer people, we had to get up in there. Come join us at New Directions! Or is it True Directions? Which one's from Glee? We all know Sydnee was a pretty big nerd back in the day (and still now, if we're being honest) but there is maybe no better example of her nerdy nature in her youth than her love for educational video games. None of us are great at geography, but we all still think that Carmen Sandiego game show sounds real fun, don't you? Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and...

It's everyone's favorite time of year: MaxFunDrive AND Circle season! Our ultimate favorite reality show on Netflix all about social media and catfish and...jokers? That twist didn't really make sense, we'll admit. Also did this episode turn into a musical episode? We aren't sure, you'll have to listen and tell us. It's the mooost wonderful time of the year, it's MaxFunDrive! To kick off this momentous occasion, we're exploring Teylor's secret musical obsession from their teendom: Tegan and Sarah! Also, someone make Rileigh stop with her MaxFunDrive theme song...please. Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! It brought a young Sydnee and Justin together all those years ago, and now it's bringing us all together this week, it's Space Ghost! It's perhaps the original and in the top-tier of cartoons for grown ups, so that's, like, perfect for us. It was Sydnee's favorite tiny newspaper cartoon, so now we're all taking a journey back in time to revisit our old friends: Calvin and Hobbes. Why does this cartoon mean so much to Syd? Why was it so good? Why does Sydnee's three year old think she's a guinea pig? Let's find out! Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! It's the film that inspired a whole generation of girls to go to law school (Rileigh included), and we canNOT believe we haven't talked about it already. It's Legally Blonde! There's a whole musical, a whole sequel, and a whole three-quel that we are definitely not going to talk about, so let's get into it. What, like it's hard? In this multi-media special episode, we're going back to the original Tank Girl, in both comic and movie forms! Tank Girl always meant a lot to Teylor, so now we all want to see what all the hype is about. *This episode was recorded before Cinnamon Toast Crunch shrimp guy was revealed to be a milkshake duck, but that big boat is still stuck that has not changed.   Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind...

Well, we have finally done it. We have found the birth place of modern podcasting as we know it, so since Rileigh got to discuss the roots of her future career, we figured it was only right for the other siblings to get to do the same. Lots of shows had an impact on how Rileigh thought teen life would be like when she was still a pre-tween, but apparently none were quite as impactful as iCarly, now that Rileigh is basically the podcast equivalent of Carly, right? A professional internet comedian as a teen with wacky older sibling(s)? That seems about right. Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show a...

They were around back in Sydnee and Teylor's day, and they have persevered all the way into the modern era, complete with their own jukebox Broadway musical, it's Green Day! What is it about their music that's just so darn listenable, and also how about that musical though?? Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! Sydnee has often had questionable tastes in movies *cough* Grease 2 *cough*, and this week's choice, according to the movie critics, is no different. "Now and Then," was not an extremely popular flick back in the day, and there's a lot to unpack to figure out why. Also, is it the spinoff to "It?" Maybe? We're all in this one together, because we're traveling back to East High for the Spring Musical with all of the High School Musical gang! Rileigh was fully obsessed with this trio of films for years of her childhood, so it's another week of her forcing her siblings into watching/listening to all the things she could not stop talking about as a small teen.    Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by...

Since it's that kind of year so far and we all needed a nice, relaxing break into the realm of Studio Ghibli, Teylor has brought us Howl's Moving Castle! A new movie for both Sydnee and Rileigh, we're going all in on Howl's fashion influence on Teylor and how good the FOOD in this movie looks. Also, go check out Teylor's cosplay and cocktails video, featuring a Howl look!   Music: "Baby You Change...

In a first in Still Buffering 2.0 history, we all read a whole book! With no pictures! Just words! Sydnee was very into this book from her teendom, so we all took the plunge into the world of Weetzie Bat this week. Also, we learn how to play "Boat."   Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas Help support this show and unlock bonus content! Become a member at https://maximumfun.org/joinbuffe...

Well, we've finally done it. We have all succumb to the dance-filled, confusing, wildly popular app of choice among quarantined Gen Z'ers: TikTok. Rileigh has long been under its spell, and now she has managed to pull both of her siblings in with her, and all she wants to know is what side of TikTok they're on and also how many dances they know.   Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas He...
