Sunday's Message titled "Grace Through Faith" brings us to the start of Luke Chapter 7, where two stories of faith illustrate how God saves us by grace through faith (in His Word!). The message is a foundational teaching and critical reminder for those who profess to be Christians and Disciples (disciplined followers) of Christ.

Jesus makes it abundantly clear in these passages that He despises judgmentalism and hypocrisy, both of which can exist simultaneously in the most religious among us. This passage removes the pressure of performance while, ironically, providing the simple (super-natural) basis to produce more fruit for the Kingdom of Heaven than we ever have before.

This message is huge on mercy and shines light on the power of grace, forgiveness, generosity, kindness, and patience to those who seem to be our biggest enemies.

In this passage, Jesus calls and appoints the 12 Apostles and delivers a jarring message, which aims the hearts of his audience to an eternal perspective, even at the expense of the temporal. May you be greatly challenged and blessed.

This narrative takes us through several conflicts between Jesus and the religious leaders of the time, encounters that exposed the difference between being right, or in right relationship, with God and being inauthentically religious. There is A LOT of freedom that can be gained through understanding these passages—may the Holy Spirit open them up to us all!

We explore why our spiritual well-being requires the same intentional care as our physical and financial health. Through Scripture and personal testimony, discover how prayer, God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, and Christian community equip us to stand firm, grow in faith, and protect the spiritual health God has given us.

This message explores how our physical, financial and spiritual health are slowly gained, but can be quickly lost without discipline and intentional care. Through Scripture, practical application, and personal testimony, it challenges us to faithfully steward the bodies, resources and lives God has entrusted to us.

Similar to the pattern we recognized from Chapter 4 with deliverance and healing, we see in this passage how forgiveness is also very much tethered to healing. May we all experience a measure of grace (forgiveness and healing) as we put our faith in this Word from God.

In this passage, we reflect on Christ's calling of his first disciples and the incredible cost and privilege of obedience.

This message shows how deeply Christ’s ministries of deliverance and healing were—and still are—interwoven. Through God’s Word, prayer, and the Communion sacrament, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, provides both deliverance and healing.

This section records how Jesus and his ministry received "contempt" in his own hometown, and we talk about what it means to be on both the receiving and giving end of contempt, when God is speaking to us through a familiar vessel.
